Maima Elvia Descanse

Maima Elvia Descanse, a respected elder from the Cofan Indigenous Community, joins us to share the sacred medicine of Yagé,, carrying with her the cosmovision and teachings of the grandmothers and grandfathers in the Colombian Putumayo. She honors and continues the legacy of her father and the elders (Taitas) who have guided her path.

Maima Elvia guides us with the loving care of a mother and the wisdom of the jungle, upholding the ceremony with integrity and deep respect for the Cofan Spiritual tradition.
