About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Amanda Trevelino, (C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP) an authentic and adventurous spirit, inspires her clients with self-health experiences. She embraced yoga at age 40 to overcome burnout, exhaustion, and mental health challenges, finding solace in its philosophy and breath techniques. She trained extensively, including with Yoganand Michael Carroll at Kripalu, Pranakriya in Atlanta, and on a pilgrimage in India. Her teachings include Yin yoga and yoga therapy influenced by Josh Summers and Don Stapelton, PhD. Amanda founded Santosha Studio in 2016, where she emphasizes internal awareness and prioritizes the subtle body, reflecting her belief in the transformative power of thought and change.
Amanda leads yogic retreats and conscious travel experiences in the US, Costa Rica, Nepal and Greece. Her curated retreats emphasize a supportive group dynamic and personal introspection. Experiences on and off the mat are based on the yogic principles of sthira and sukha; noticing when there’s too much effort or tension, and inviting more ease.
