Ashton August, MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing: Yoga Instructor, Motivational Author and Speaker

Ashton August has been teaching guided meditation and visualization, yoga, and breathwork for the past 12+ years to students around the world both in-person and online. She is the founder of the wellness website YouAligned.com as well as YA Classes, a yoga and meditation app. Ashton is the author of Learn.Grow.Shift. 30 Days of Personal Growth, and A Year of Self-Motivation for Women and is currently writing her third book, 101 Mindfulness Practices for Anxiety.
Ashton holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing and is an eRYT200 yoga and meditation instructor. She is dedicated to creating an impactful + supportive container for exploration, motivation, and growth through every class she teaches, workshop she leads, word she writes, and talk she gives. Her students love her welcoming, uplifting energy.

A Denver, Colorado native, Ashton now lives in sunny Tucson, Arizona with her husband and their two rescue dogs.
