Nayara

About the Teacher

Why study with them?

My name is Nadja, but since "Nadja" means "hope," and my life was built on hope for many years—which served me well—I decided that hope alone was no longer enough when I started working with breathwork.

So, I chose the name Nayara for my work as a coach. Nayara means "guidance," and since I guide people—and myself—back to their breath, it felt like the perfect fit.

At the age of 22, I dropped out of university in Germany and traveled to Spain with my bus, two dogs, and a cat to escape the cold winter. I stayed there and began living my big dream: traveling through Europe with a horse and cart, performing theater with a small group of like-minded people, and spreading the message that anything is possible if you believe in your dreams.

Since then, I’ve traveled across Spain and Portugal with my horses. Today, I live with my two children, Ayrin and Lua, in a community in southern Portugal. We reside in a self-built dome made of wood and clay, grow most of our own vegetables, and lead a largely self-sufficient life.

We are part of a project for children who don’t attend regular school, where my children, along with about 40 others, learn everything they want and need to know.
