Why study with them?
Bolivian-Brazilian, is a Medicine Woman rooted in the Andean and Amazonian traditions. For over 20 years she has walked the shamanic path, and for 15 years has been in service through healing ceremonies, sacred plants, and integrative practices that honor ancestral wisdom.
She is co-founder of Quinta Conciencia, center for permaculture and healing in Samaipata, Bolivia, where she facilitates ancestral ceremonies, sacred dances, sweat lodges, and retreats. Her work invites participants to experience cleansing, deep healing, and reconnection with the cycles of Nature, weaving together indigenous cosmologies and contemporary perspectives.
Karina is also a Zen practitioner, Hatha Yoga instructor, and Dance Therapy facilitator, integrating movement, meditation, and body awareness into her path of healing. Academically, she holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Ecotourism, a background in Business Engineering, and has pursued doctoral research on sustainable development and mountain biodiversity. This diverse background allows her to bridge ancestral knowledge and modern science, creating fertile spaces for dialogue and mutual learning.
At the heart of her vocation is her role as a facilitator of integral processes. Karina has extensive experience guiding dialogues of knowledge among communities, institutions, and diverse traditions, creating safe and respectful multi-actor spaces where collective wisdom can emerge. She sees facilitation as a living art of weaving — bringing together voices, perspectives, and energies in service to harmony and transformation.
Her path is inspired by principles at the core of ancestral peoples: the contemplative gaze, the reciprocity expressed in giving and receiving, and the deep awareness that all is perfect, all is alive, and all is sacred. These values guide her life and her service, nurturing a vision of interconnectedness and balance with the Earth and all beings.
