About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Rahel Lutz is a plant-based retreat chef, Ashtanga yoga teacher, fermentation guide, and founder of Don’t Waste Your Taste—a platform devoted to intuitive cooking, food preservation, and living in harmony with the seasons.
With a background in yoga, mindful eating, and low-waste plant-based cuisine, Rahel has spent years exploring how food, movement, and ritual intersect. Her teaching blends ancient wisdom with modern creativity—encouraging people to reconnect with food as a source of joy, healing, and sustainability.
As a retreat chef, food blogger, and workshop facilitator, Rahel has led countless classes in fermentation, Ayurvedic-inspired meals, and zero-waste kitchen practices. She’s passionate about making cooking both accessible and empowering, while also inviting people into deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.
At this retreat, Rahel will be guiding not only our fermentation and food workshops, but also our daily yoga sessions, meditation, and the beautiful cacao and kirtan ceremony. Her presence brings grounding, joy, and a deep sense of soulful nourishment to everything she does.
