Now 85 years old, he brings over seven decades of profound plant medicine knowledge to our ceremonies. This exceptional ayahuasca master has guided countless healing journeys throughout his lifetime in the Peruvian Amazon.
At our Peru retreat ayahuasca, tradition flows through generations. Leonardo initiated the training of his daughter Lucila as an ayahuasca master more than 20 years ago. Today, father and daughter unite their healing energies to guide transformative ceremonies together, combining ancient wisdom with contemporary understanding.
Traditional Training of a True Ayahuasca Master; Leonardo's journey as an ayahuasca master began under his own father's guidance, following ancestral Shipibo traditions at our Peru retreat ayahuasca location. His initial plant dietas included the powerful teacher plants tobacco, pinon colorado, and chiric sanango—foundational elements in traditional Amazonian plant medicine that continue to inform his masterful ceremony work today.
