About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Vida is a passionate and adventurous soul, dedicated to a path of growth, love and connection. Growing up on the coast of New Zealand in the forest, a deep sense of wonder and gratitude for the natural world was born, something that would continue to fuel her curiosity and inspiration for life throughout the world.
Vida followed her passion for classical ballet in Australia, studying full-time before working professionally for several years with the West Australian Ballet Company. Life in the city was comfortable and secure but when she returned home and connected to her natural essence once again, she knew that there was so much more wild beauty and adventure waiting for her elsewhere. Following her heart and passion for nature, movement, and connection, Vida then studied Outdoor Adventure Education in NZ and completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with the Kula Collective in Guatemala, her vision being to work towards combining the magical forces of nature and movement to create experiences for people to remember how to come closer to themselves and the truth within that is love.
Vida has been traveling now in Central/South America for the last few years continuing to grow and expand her knowledge of the world, people and nature, while discovering deeper ways of sharing this connection with others - through yoga, meditation, cacao and music. Helping to remind us of how to listen to that deep calling of our hearts so we can follow our true creative missions in life.
Vida is extremely excited and grateful to be able to help support Tiana’s creation and to share together during her Bhakti Yoga Teacher Training Course at Pachānanda.
