Ruth Beronica Juagibioy Jacanamejoy, from the Kamentsa Indigenous people of Sibundoy, Putumayo, Colombia.
Beronica has a rich lineage in plant medicine from the Juagibioy Jacanamejoy family. She is the daugher of the healer Taita Pedro Juagibioy and her first Yagecero teacher. Her mother, Carmela Jacanamejoy, dedicated her life to medicinal plants. She began leading ceremonies in the Kamentsa healing tradition 10 years ago, traveling around Colombia and the world to share her healing knowledge.
