About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Rachel Schwab, M.Div. Rachel Schwab is an ordained minister, Master Reiki practitioner and teacher, and spiritual healer whose journey spans over two decades of ministry, energetic healing, and ritual work. Based in Central Pennsylvania, she brings a rare blend of pastoral wisdom, embodied healing practices, and a compassionate presence to the work of emotional transformation. Rachel’s approach to emotional clearing is rooted in her belief that the client and the practitioner are partners in the healing journey. The role of Reiki is not to “do the healing,” she often says, but to move where it is needed; the client’s openness and readiness allow the release and transformation to take place. She creates safe, held space in which participants can release emotional blockages, integrate insights, and deepen their connection to the divine, the self, and community. As co leader of this emotional clearing retreat, Rachel guides participants through energy work, intentional rituals, gentle somatic practices, and reflection. Her decades of pastoral care equip her with a sensitivity to grief, trauma, and emotional healing, while her reiki and energetic modalities give her powerful tools for clearing and resetting. Rachel’s heartfelt intention is to support each retreatant in shedding what no longer serves, reclaiming emotional integrity, and anchoring more fully into their authentic selves. With compassion, skill, and spiritual attunement, she co leads this retreat as a companion on the journey to wholeness. Beth Montgomery is a death doula who specializes in grief release. She gently guides participants through sacred rituals of releasing and remembering, creating space to honor loved ones while lightening the weight of loss. Her work invites participants to transform grief into a deeper sense of connection, peace, and renewal. In addition to these grief release ceremonies, Beth will also co-facilitate the emotional clearing workshops, bringing grounded compassion and soulful guidance to support each person’s journey.
