Julian Patrick Griffin - Garden Integration & Plant Medicine Guide
Where syntropic agriculture meets sacred relationship with the earth
Julian brings the profound wisdom of regenerative agriculture to your couples retreat, offering a unique opportunity to deepen your connection not only with each other but with the living earth that sustains us all. As a devoted father of three and lifelong steward of the land, Julian understands how nurturing relationships—whether with partners or plants—requires patience, presence, and deep attunement.
A Global Journey of Regenerative Wisdom
Growing up in Northern California with a gardening mother, Julian's relationship with the earth began early when he connected with a neighboring organic farm. This sparked a lifelong journey that has never stopped growing. As a nomadic farmer and regenerative systems educator, he's co-created edible landscaping and farming projects across diverse climates—from Hawaii's Big Island to Mendocino, Southern Quebec, Ecuador, and Nicaragua's Ometepe Island.
Julian's genius lies in regenerative food production systems that work harmoniously across all scales and climates. His approach synthesizes permaculture design, market gardening, syntropic agriculture, and agroforestry, creating beautifully arranged and efficient multifunctional landscapes that nourish both body and soul.
Culinary Artistry Meets Earth Wisdom
As a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef and herbal formulator with 20 years of culinary arts experience, Julian bridges the gap between growing and nourishing. He's the original founder of Amour Tonic and creator of functional mushroom company Focus Fungi, along with Syntropic Living's food forest-grown herbal teas and foods.
His expertise spans bio-intensive market vegetable and microgreen production, indoor and outdoor mushroom cultivation, and wild foraging of gourmet and medicinal plants—all skills he's shared through 10 years at farmers markets, festivals, and health expos.
