During your stay at the villa you will be given daily yoga and meditation lessons with Felix Fuenzalida. Your yoga and meditation classes will be with a maximum of ten people, conducted in a beautiful and peaceful Mediterranean setting to calm your senses and reset your energies.
Felix’s practice is Vinyasa and Pranayama yoga and Buddhist meditation aimed to strengthen, stretch, and deepen your self-awareness.

Daily yoga classes will take place in the morning and meditation will take place in the evenings. We will guide you through different yoga styles principally Vinyasa and Pranayama and the classes will be held in the mature gardens. The mediation will be based on a Buddhist meditation and philosophical practice combined with restorative meditation. It will be an Introduction in Buddhist Meditation for beginners and also for practitioners from other traditions that want to widen their knowledge. Yoga mats and blocks will be provided however you may bring your own.

Menu Types

Daily breakfast and lunch or packed lunch will be provided. Additionally a welcome dinner will also take place on the first night of the retreat. The food is fresh, local and homemade and will cater for vegetarian dietary requirements only. Early breakfast Breakfast Lunch Soft Drinks and wine will be served on the welcome dinner and during lunch time The following dietary requirement(s) are served and/or catered for: Vegetarian

Getting Here

Directions

Grimaud, Gulf of St Tropez, South of France. The nearest airports are Nice (1 hour transfer to the retreat) and Marseille (1 and half hour transfer to the retreat). The nearest train stations are Les Arc Draguinan and St Raphael. Taxis can be organised by the organiser at an additional charge upon request. Note that there are no direct trains or buses from the airport to Grimaud. However information on specific routes can be provided on request.

About this trip

We are pleased to announce our first French Riviera Yoga and Meditation Retreat held weekly during summer 2019 in the on the beautiful french riviera. The 6 nights, 7 days riviera retreat is ideal for those seeking a restorative holiday combining yoga, meditation and leisurely excursions exploring this beautiful part of Provence.

The retreat will be offered on a weekly basis during July/August/September 2019 on the dates specified below under "Retreat Dates".

Location

Grimaud, Provence-Côte d'Azur, South of France. Stay in a rustic and beautiful villa located in Grimaud, with daily yoga and meditation on the mature gardens.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

This retreat is principally for restoration, rejuvenation and introspection through yoga and gaining an understanding of our present life and a compassionate and meaningful way to live it through Buddhist meditation . By learning the main concepts and putting them into practice, we can see a positive change in our daily life. You will get the time you need for introspection. You’ll go deeper into your yoga and mindfulness practice and learn to create new habits. You will be inspired by experiencing this for one week in one of the most beautiful and untouched parts of the world . You will also be part of a group of fellow spiritual seekers.

Activities

Besides yoga and meditation there will be 3 excursions included during the retreat depending on the season this may include a visit to the local market, beaches, local villages,cheese and honey tasting and various other activities.

**Additional activities such as massages, wine tasting and visits to Cannes/Nice/ Monte-Carlo can be provided on request with an additional charge.

Things to do (optional)

During your stay, there is the possibility to visit the Perfume Museums in Grasse, such as Le Musee Internationale de la Parfumerie or Fragonard. There are also many museums of different painters that have resided on the Cote d'Azur that can be visited. Visits can be made to the nearby towns of Cannes/Nice/ Monte-Carlo and many others. If you would like to have a visit to the local vineyard a wine tasting in the local wineries can be arranged. Massage and beauty treatments can be provided on request (Please contact for prices, reservation must be made 2 days in advance).

Spa treatments

During this retreat, you may book a massage treatment at an additional cost. This may be possible if you reserve it in advance. (Please contact for prices, reservation must be made 2 or more days in advance)

Instructor

Felix Fuenzalida.

Felix has trained in "Leadership and Coaching" and becoming a life coach in 2010. He later qualified as yoga instructor in Vinyasa Krama and also held a strong focus on pranayama and yogic meditation to assist in posture correction, anatomy, philosophy and diets.

Felix has also been trained by Shamans from the Condor’s Lineage, in the Cordillera de los Andes, for over 6 years learning and practicing various techniques in shamanic healing with the 4 elements to purify, protect, nourish and expand the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body.

Felix has also worked with and assisted Lamas from Nepal, who teach Tibetan Buddhism, he spent a number of years dedicating his time and assistance to learn their spiritual guidance and is able to conduct teachings in Buddhist philosophy and meditation.

Felix hopes to share with you the philosophical teachings of the Andes and Tibet, combined with the practice of yoga and meditation to strengthen your body, encourage positive internal changes and assist in understanding ones purpose in life.
