Moodforest at Sehatvan is located at the periphery of a forest system with rich biodiversity, flora and fauna. No cement or concrete has been used in construction. All the structure are made in mud, grass and bamboo. Electricity is through solar panels. There is a nearby water spring and rivulet. There is a mud pool and ample sun baking spaces.

Mission & Vision
Moodforest is a Scientific Research and Development Organization (Registered under MSEM Ministry, Govt of India #UDYAM-MP-10-0020843 for Social Sciences and Humanities). Here we study impact of wilderness, green work-out and community living on human emotions and mental health in general, and happiness in particular.
We are carrying out a study (Green Mind Study) in collaboration with Prof Geertjan Overbeek of Amsterdam University. Preliminary findings are suggestive of wilderness and community living being able to tremendously enhance cognitive appraisal (i.e. ability of brain to handle complex problems) and sleep quality and decrease emotional distress. We are now in the process of making this study multicentric and larger in respect of sample size and duration.
