Directions

1. Pack Your Bags Throw in your swimwear, your comfiest clothes, and maybe that book you’ve been meaning to read. Leave space for souvenirs (trust us). 2. Fly to Thailand Book your flight to Koh Samui Airport (USM) – you might connect through Bangkok, Phuket, or even Singapore depending on your airline. 3. Touch Down in Samui Step off the plane and feel that first hit of tropical air. Welcome to island time. 4. Taxi to the Pier At the airport, grab a taxi to one of the ferry piers – Lomprayah for a speedy catamaran (about 30 minutes to Koh Phangan) or Raja Ferry for a slower, more laid-back cruise (about 90 minutes). 5. Ferry Across the Gulf Sail past turquoise water and palm-fringed islets. Sit outside if you can – the sea breeze feels amazing. 6. Arrive in Koh Phangan Land at Thong Sala Pier or Haad Rin Pier. Songthaews (shared open-air taxis) will be lined up and ready. Tell the driver “Arcana Wellness Village, Sri Thanu” and you’re on your way. 7. The Island Drive Wind through lush jungle roads, pass tiny cafes and coconut groves, and spot a few curious cows. 8. Welcome to Arcana The sign comes into view, the world slows down, and you step into your new home for the days ahead. Paradise, unlocked.

Wonderful Wellness, but disappointing rooms
I had mixed feelings about my stay:
Positives:
The wellness area is absolutely stunning – truly a dream. The pools are beautifully designed and perfect for relaxation.

The location itself is breathtaking – peaceful, scenic, and ideal for a retreat.

Negatives:
The rooms are poorly built and feel very cheaply made. Finishing is of low quality: doors cannot be properly locked, which doesn’t provide a sense of privacy or security.
The air conditioning is placed directly above the bed, which is very inconvenient. There’s hardly enough space to open one large suitcase – let alone two.
Unprofessional behavior:
A major downside was the Israeli hotel manager, who openly flirted with my partner in front of me and complimented her on her “beautiful eyes.” This was highly unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Conclusion:
The property itself is stunning, with dreamlike wellness facilities and a fantastic setting. However, the poor room quality and the manager’s behavior were serious disappointments. Overall, the potential is great, but the experience just didn’t feel right – which is a real pity.
