Retreat Highlights

  • We invite you to step into this portal of love — a sacred journey of healing, connection, remembrance, and profound transformation.
  • We will be journey with Mama Marta, yagé curandera And keeper of sacred traditions, and her two daughters who are also deeply wise and connected.
  • Mama Marta has worked with yagé for over fifty years — not only as a healer but also as a western-trained nurse.
  • In profound kinship with the medicine, Mama Marta received visions of the sacred space where she offers us the medicine — a land designed by the divine itself.
  • In Colombian traditions, the word yagé carries deep spiritual significance — it is more than just a plant; it is a sacred teacher. It belongs to a distinct lineage of Indigenous healing practices, with its own cosmology, ceremonies, and codes
  • When we drink yagé, we enter a space beyond the physical — a realm where we can see the unseen and know the unknown. It is a heart-opening spirit that invites healing, deep remembrance, and inner discovery.
  • The brew is prepared not only with healing hands, but with heart and prayer by Mama Marta's family.
  • To drink this sacred medicine on the very land where it has been cherished for generations is a rare privilege that invites us into a timeless dance between earth, medicine, and soul.
  • By the end of this deep journey, we won’t just be a group — we’ll be brothers and sisters for life.
  • In the months following the retreat, we’ll have three post-retreat calls to check in, share how the journey is integrating, and continue walking the path alongside each other.
  • Join us as we dissolve the boundaries of space and time and step into the sacred portal of divine love — where the veils lift, and the eternal self is remembered.
  • The journey we will be embarking on March 2026 represents a rare opportunity to experience the magic of yagé with an authentic lineage holder, Mama Marta, in its sacred homeland.
  • Our shared mission is to create a safe and sacred space for you to come as you are. We were so moved by our own experiences with this medicine — and now, we feel called to share that light with others. We have so much reverence and respect for this powerful work and immense gratitude towards Mama Marta for allowing us to co-create together in this way

About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Yagé - A Gateway To The Divine

Yagé ( more commonly known as ayahuasca ) is a portal — a bridge between dimensions. It opens pathways to the spirit world, to ancestral wisdom, and to the consciousness of Mother Earth herself.

Expert Guidance

Mama Marta, yagé curandera, carries the timeless wisdom of her elders, and all that we have learned in ceremony with her and her daughters has been lovingly passed down from her people and the sacred plant spirits.

She has worked with yagé for over fifty years — not only as a healer but also as a western-trained nurse. Together with her daughters, Maria and Carolina, this matriarchal healing circle creates a uniquely feminine and nurturing space for awakening.

Serene Location

In profound kinship with the medicine, Mama Marta received visions of the sacred space where she offers us the medicine — a land designed by the divine itself.

If your heart feels called to be embraced by the magic of this ancient, heart-opening medicine, we will journey back to her in March 2026.

This sacred land is nestled deep within the lush forests of Colombia’s Andean Mountains on the outskirts of Bogota.

Plant Spirit

Though both ayahuasca and yagé are brewed from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, they are prepared in different ways and are rooted in distinct traditions. Ayahuasca is closely associated with Peruvian, Brazilian, and pan-Amazonian shamanic practices.Yagé, on the other hand, is deeply entwined with Colombian Indigenous ceremony.

To drink this sacred medicine on the very land where it has been cherished for generations is a rare privilege that invites us into a timeless dance between earth, medicine, and soul.

Sacred Brew

The Yagé we will be served is brewed from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and combined with bejuco and chagropanga to create a powerful visionary medicine.

The brew is prepared in the jungle in Putumayo, Colombia by Mama Marta's cousin for five days and five nights.

It is medicine woven from the Earth, stirred with devotion, and poured with love — a true gift from the spirit of the land
