Mama Marta is the Yagé Curandera And Keeper Of Sacred Traditions. She will be the one administering the ayahuasca to the group.
Mama Marta carries the timeless wisdom of her elders, and all that we have learned in ceremony with her and her daughters has been lovingly passed down from her people and the sacred plant spirits.
She has worked with ayahuasca for over fifty years — not only as a healer but also as a western-trained nurse. Together with her daughters, Maria and Carolina, this matriarchal healing circle creates a uniquely feminine and nurturing space for awakening.
In her lineage, medicine was traditionally administered only by men. Yet, through her deep relationship with yagé, Mama Marta was granted permission to break those barriers, answering the call to serve all who seek healing.
In profound kinship with the medicine, Mama Marta received visions of the sacred space where she offers us the medicine — a land designed by the divine itself. Every creature, every plant, every seed was intentionally placed, weaving a powerful energy that hums through the earth beneath us.
Originally, this space was made for women alone. Later, Mama Marta asked the medicine for permission to invite men, with the intention of balancing the feminine and allowing sisters and brothers to heal side by side.
