About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

In a world that often feels fast-paced, fractured, and disconnected, this retreat offers something rare: a safe, structured space for deep healing, transformation, and integration.

At its core, this work is about bridging two worlds - the ancient traditions of the Amazon and the modern challenges of Western life. Through thoughtful preparation, carefully held ceremonies, and dedicated integration support, you’ll be guided to bring the insights of plant medicine into your everyday reality in a grounded, sustainable way.

This is not about escape. It’s about meeting yourself fully, in an environment that supports you to grow, heal, and realign with what matters most.

Set in the stillness of rural Portugal, our 5-day plant medicine retreat is embedded in an eight-week journey. You won’t just participate in ceremonies - you’ll be supported before, during, and after with the tools and guidance needed to make sense of it all, so the changes take root.

Most retreats begin and end with the ceremonies. Ours starts a month before and continues a month after, because true transformation unfolds over time. Plant medicine can open profound doors, but without preparation and integration, insights often fade into memory. What makes this retreat different is how we help you prepare your system beforehand and how we walk with you afterwards to make sure the changes land.

We include:
Weekly live preparation and integration sessions with grounding practices and group connection
Somatic tools for nervous system regulation and emotional processing
Trauma-informed facilitation that honours the full spectrum of human experience
Clear frameworks to help you make meaning and apply insights in everyday life
Microdosing tinctures for gentle support with your integration

Schedule

Itinerary & Training Overview

Our 5-day retreat is part of a structured training programme to ensure all participants are properly supported before, during, and after the retreat, with practical tools to integrate their experiences.

Pre-Retreat Training (Online)

Participants will join four preparatory sessions online before arrival. These sessions focus on mental, emotional, and physical preparation, grounding practices, intention setting, and understanding the ceremonial process.

Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation

Arrive at Porto Airport by 2pm and transfer to Bela Colina. Settle into your private room and explore the grounds. Meet your facilitators and fellow participants for a gentle orientation session and opening circle.

Day 2 – Ceremony Day

Morning restorative practices including yoga and meditation to ground yourself. Afternoon preparation session to set intentions and review ceremonial guidance. Evening guided ayahuasca ceremony with support from the facilitators, followed by gentle reflection and journaling.

Day 3 – Integration & Training
Morning yoga and mindful movement to process insights from the previous night. Afternoon integration session focusing on practical tools for applying lessons in daily life. Group discussion, somatic exercises, and reflection.

Day 4 – Ceremony Day

Morning grounding practices and optional one-on-one support. Afternoon preparation for the evening ceremony. Evening guided ayahuasca ceremony, followed by group sharing and integration support.

Day 5 – Closing, Integration & Departure

A light breakfast, followed by final integration circle to consolidate insights and set intentions for your life beyond the retreat. Guidance on post-retreat integration, journaling, and applying the learning in everyday contexts. Transfer back to Porto Airport for flights departing after 4pm.

Post-Retreat Training (Online)

Four follow-up sessions will be offered after the retreat to support ongoing integration. These sessions help participants embed their experiences, develop self-awareness, and maintain the gains made during the retreat.

The combination of pre-retreat training, ceremony days, integration work, and post-retreat support creates a comprehensive framework that bridges the ceremonial experiences with modern life, providing lasting transformation and practical skills for wellbeing.
