About this Retreat
Anna is a self-taught artist and creative guide who celebrates color, texture, and the meditative joy of making by hand. Through her woven jewelry, beadwork, and cacao-infused crafting circles, she invites others into playful flow—where presence, pattern, and spontaneity naturally weave into art.
Carlos is a Mallorca-born sound wizard and cacao whisperer whose life’s work blends beats, vibrations, and heart-opening chocolate ceremonies. Equal parts producer, songwriter, and ceremonial guide, he helps people find their own “inner frequency” while making every session feel like a sonic adventure.
Herb Beslanowitch and Alla Gonopolsky are partners in life and in service of others. They are co-founders of The Black Lotus Academy, a unique school that helps current and aspiring healers become more skilled, confident, and effective in their work (and in their own lives). This "Hogwarts for Healers" combines the power of meditation, cacao, hypnotherapy, and other healing modalities.
Herb is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, EFT & NLP Master Practitioner, meditation teacher, and mentor with over 20 years of experience. Alla is a book author, yoga teacher and brand strategist. Together they love teaching, traveling, scuba diving, and drinking cacao out of giant mugs. (A true cacao couple, the pair first met on Keith's porch in 2018 and have now hosted hundreds of ceremonies together.) Herb & Alla's approach honors and utilizes their years of studying closely with Keith, ultimately in service of helping people get out of their own way and step into their own amazing power.
Nicole is a heart-centered shamanic guide and cacao alchemist who turns sacred ceremonies into journeys of transformation. With a playful, joyful energy and a deep connection to spirit, she helps people release old patterns, open their hearts, and step fully into their own light.
The self-proclaimed "luckiest man in the universe," Rick is the CEO who traded soul-sapping grind for heart-led flow, letting Keith’s Cacao unlock his intuition, creativity, and joy-filled leadership. With sharp business savvy and deep self-awareness, he guides his team—and himself—with empathy, playfulness, and a steady pulse of inspired insight.
Robert is a metaphysician with a private practice in NYC. He leads trainings and workshops domestically and internationally.
Robert is excited and honored to lead a Keith's Cacao ceremony, offering his particular style of intuitive processing, which may include breath, sound, and visualisations.
Robert is excited to lead a workshop on the "Metaphysics of Cacao". This will be a deep dive on how to better attune oneself to the spirit of cacao, and how to enhance one's inner communication skills. We will look closely at the energetic properties of Keith's Cacao, including its doctrine of signatures, as well as the numerology of Cacao, and its role as a master plant teacher for today.
Robert is looking forward to once again collaborating with Carlos Marcus, to offer a cacao inspired sonic experience. This event will include sound, breath, energetic alignment, and of course, Keith's Cacao. Robert holds the title of Gongmaster and has been leading sound healing events and trainings for close to 15 years.

Schedule
We open with a morning ritual or session that could include a chakra dance and group offering to the Abuela Lake Atitlán or some lectures from Keith Wilson our founder and teacher. After that we all share breakfast together as family and then we start with our first Cacao Ceremony with a advanced practitioner. Later on we all go for free time (integration, lunch, journaling, etc) and then again we gather together for another Cacao ceremony or workshop (art, dance, Cacao science) and then we again we have free time. Some days we take tours around the Lake Atitlán to inmerse in Guatemala's culture. We also go for a all-day journey to the cacao forests and visit the Cacao factory!!! :D

Directions
The easiest and most direct is via a private car, but there are many options for each budget range. Inside the Homecoming Facebook Group you can arrange to share a car with other attendees. The price to hire a car and driver is APPROX 1275Q ($170USD) for up to 3 passengers, so if you are travelling in a small group to or from the La Aurora Airport, this is a great option!
