🌿 New Year’s Retreat 2026–2027 | Crossing the Threshold ✨

What if you welcomed the New Year not with noise and distraction, but with presence, connection and intention?

Join us at Ananda Kalyani, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Central Portugal, for a transformative New Year’s retreat.

Through yoga, meditation, kiirtan (collective mantra singing), inspiring workshops, nourishing vegetarian food and connection with nature, we invite you to slow down, reflect and step into 2027 with renewed clarity and purpose.

Rooted in the spiritual teachings of Ananda Marga, this retreat offers a space for personal transformation, collective celebration and deeper connection with yourself, others and the Earth.

✨ No previous experience needed — everyone is welcome!

Ananda Kalyani was founded in 2010, where the first of what are now approximately 36 hectares of land were purchased, covered in forests and hills in the rural area of Serra da Estrela. Since the modest beginning, the land has been transformed from a lush, abandoned valley into a vibrant, habitable space. The project and its community has grown over the past 15 years from a small group of visionaries to between 35 to 50 members and ‘extended family’ who live nearby and contribute to its mission.
