About this Retreat
Emma is an Irish 400+ hour yoga and mindfulness teacher, a qualified Tibetan sound bowl therapist, and a mum of two young girls (4 and 2). She specialises in prenatal and postpartum yoga, with a deep interest in holistic women’s health at all life stages.
Based in Hoi An since 2018, Emma brings both professional training and lived experience to her work. Having navigated chronic illness, depression and trauma herself, she creates spaces that feel deeply safe, grounded, and human – where students are met exactly as they are.
Through gentle, embodied movement, breathwork, sound, and mindfulness practices, Emma supports her students and retreat guests in reconnecting with their bodies, honouring their intuition, and becoming their own greatest guides. Her work is rooted in the belief that true wellbeing comes from slowing down, listening deeply, and learning to live with more balance and ease.
Emma teaches weekly Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra classes in Hoi An, alongside her prenatal and postpartum offerings, and hosts monthly Mothers’ Circles from her home. Her own journey – including living with alopecia – has shaped her understanding that yoga is not about fixing or striving, but about cultivating gratitude, presence, and peace, even in life’s messier moments.
Emma's classes are slow, mindful, and gently challenging, inviting students to soften into stillness, reconnect with their breath, and heal from within. She will be your lead teacher, and your main point of contact, throughout the retreat. Aside from teaching 4 x morning yoga sessions, an afternoon workshop and the evening yin / nidra sessions, Emma is available for 1:1 sound bowl treatments and support throughout your stay.
Clare is an Irish 500-hr yoga teacher based in Da Nang, where she teaches regular Vinyasa Flow studio classes. Clare will lead two of the morning flow sessions – and her creative sequences, coupled with her warm spirit and beaming smile, will be the best start to your day! Clare will also lead the visualisation board-making workshop for guests keen to explore their dreams in a safe and supportive space.
Quynh, of Omandala Yoga, has hosted healing retreats around Vietnam since 2019 – guiding people from many different cultures but with the shared goal of improving their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Knowing that the world needs healers more than ever, Quynh finds herself very much connected with people who are willing to walk this path. Quynh will lead the group sound bath session and is available throughout your stay for 1:1 sessions: either in your room, in the villa's pool, or in her own treatment room at Omandala Wellness.

Reflect & Connect: A quiet pause for women who have been holding it all together.
There comes a moment when powering through no longer works.
You may look fine on the outside – capable, responsible, accomplished – yet inside you feel tired, overstimulated, or quietly disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you’re navigating a career shift, the end (or beginning) of a chapter, recovery from burnout, or simply the realisation that life is moving quickly and you’d like to meet it more consciously.
Our Reflect & Connect Retreat offers you something rare: time, space, and support to slow down and come home to yourself – held in a warm, intimate community of women who understand exactly where you are.
Set among the rice fields and rivers of Hoi An, Vietnam, this retreat blends gentle yoga, mindfulness, somatic practices, and soulful cultural experiences to help you reset your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and rediscover what truly nourishes you.
WHO IT'S FOR:
This retreat is for you if:
* You feel mentally busy, emotionally stretched, or physically tired
* You’re in a transition – personal, professional, hormonal, or spiritual
* You want yoga that's accessible, grounding, and non-performative
* You’re craving meaningful connections and a supportive environment
* You’d love to travel somewhere beautiful, soulful, and culturally rich – without needing to rush
Psst... All yoga levels are welcome. No flexibility or prior experience required.
THE EXPERIENCE
Each day unfolds slowly and intentionally, allowing plenty of space for rest, reflection, and choice.
Mornings begin with gentle flow yoga, meditation, and breathwork in a bamboo shala overlooking the Co Co River – practices designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Afternoons are spacious: plenty of free time, with optional workshops. You might:
* Journal by the pool
* Join a mindfulness or creativity workshop
* Cycle through emerald rice fields
* Explore the lantern‑lit Old Town
* Book a massage or simply rest in the garden
Evenings invite you inward with yin yoga, yoga nidra, sound healing, and nourishing shared meals – grounding your nervous system and deepening connection.
This is not a packed schedule. It’s a rhythm that supports integration, ease, and genuine transformation.
WHAT MAKES THIS RETREAT DIFFERENT:
Many retreats focus on doing more.
This one is about being just as you are – safely, slowly, and without expectation.
You’ll be guided using practices informed by mindfulness‑based stress reduction, somatic awareness, and nervous‑system regulation, rather than trends or performative spirituality.
You’ll leave not only feeling rested, but with practical tools you can take home – so the calm you cultivate here can continue long after the retreat ends.
