About this Retreat
Details of this retreat
What if awareness did not end when you fell asleep?
Most of us move through our days and nights on autopilot, briefly waking to moments of clarity before drifting back into habit. This retreat is an invitation to cultivate a different way of being—one in which awareness begins to flow more continuously through both waking life and sleep.
Together we explore the conditions that make lucid dreaming more likely, not by forcing extraordinary experiences, but by strengthening the quality of attention that carries from one moment to the next. Through meditation, contemplative yoga, Yoga Nidra, dream journaling, nature immersion, silent kayaking, and mindfulness practices, we learn to recognize awareness itself as something that can remain present across the entire twenty-four-hour cycle.
Throughout the retreat, the river serves as our central metaphor. Just as the river flows effortlessly through changing landscapes while remaining the same water, awareness can continue beneath the changing experiences of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. Rather than treating these as separate worlds, we begin to experience them as different expressions of the same current.
Some guests may experience lucid dreams. Others may notice richer dream recall, deeper sleep, heightened presence, or moments during the day that feel unusually vivid, spacious, and alive—as though waking life itself has become more dreamlike in the best possible sense. These are not separate destinations but different expressions of the same practice.
The deeper purpose of this retreat is not simply to become lucid in dreams. It is to awaken capacities that have always been available—clarity, wonder, presence, and deep remembering—and to discover that they can accompany you wherever you are, whether awake or asleep.
Our hope is that you leave with more than memorable dreams. We hope you leave with a living relationship to awareness itself, one that remains accessible throughout your days, your nights, and the quiet moments in between.
