About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

🌿 About the Retreat

Our retreat is led by Uwishin Arutam Ruymán, a master of the living ancestral Shuar lineage, together with a dedicated team who have walked this path for many years. We follow the teachings and ways passed down through generations, offering a space of profound respect and commitment to traditional Amazonian medicine.

This is not a tourist experience. It is a traditional practice that demands honesty, commitment, and inner openness. We’ll work with intensity, developing our instincts and inner strength, as the elders once did.

Those who stay for the third week will enter a deeper phase of the process, with advanced practices such as Natemamu — an ancient, challenging, and deeply transformative way of working with the Ayahuasca vine alone, without admixtures. This traditional practice is one of the oldest forms of spiritual medicine in the lineage, offering profound healing under the close guidance of the master and the team. It is intended for those with prior experience or a strong inner calling to go further.

🛖 Accommodation

All participants sleep in our Sacred Ceremony House, a traditional thatched building within the retreat center. Each person has their own bed and space, regardless of whether they choose basic or upgraded options.

Those who wish may request upgraded options:
• Private Rooms (in colonial-style houses)
• Private Jungle Cabins

These special accommodations are subject to availability and not included in the base price. They can be shared with a partner, friend, or another participant from the group. In such cases, the cost may be split.

🗣️ Participation Requires a Prior Interview

Each person must speak with our team first, to ensure this path is right for them. This is essential in honoring the sacred nature of our work and protecting the integrity of the process. Only after this interview can a person be accepted.
