I've drank ayahuasca in Peru and other high end retreat centers - and I keep choosing Reunion!
This was my second trip to Reunion and I am sure I will be back. I have sat with the medicine in a few different places, and Reunion feels like home. The medicine team is outstanding, I can really feel how much they care and I felt supported every step of the way. Help was always there when I needed it. The guidance they give is incredibly helpful, more guidance than I've received elsewhere, and they create an impeccable container so that I could go as deep as possible with the medicine.
Everything at Reunion is intentionally crafted to support big and sustainable transformation. My ceremonies were so deep, profound, powerful, and transformational. Months later I am still feeling the effects and I truly feel that the transformation I was seeking has occurred (and the process is still unfolding).
I can't recommend Reunion enough. It feels like home and I can't wait to go back!

Not-for-profit center and authentic experience
I went to Reunion as a solo traveler in January. I chose a double occupancy room and was paired with another female solo traveler. The room was very large and comfortable with a great view. And the food was great. One thing that stood out to me was that several people in my class were returning visitors to Reunion.
I felt very supported and cared for in ceremony. There were about 30 people in my group and each ceremony had two facilitators and two shaman. I care deeply about preserving the Indigenous traditions, wisdom and culture of ayahuasca ceremony as we often see a commoditization and commercialization of this ancient wisdom that I am not comfortable with. The fact that Reunion is a not-for-profit center with smaller groups, shaman who center the history and heritage of the medicine and have trained in Peru among other Indigenous cultures, who source their medicine ethically was all a comfort to me (the shaman was also Indigenous).
The itinerary during the week included movement classes, breathwork and sharing circles to help us continue our work outside of ceremony through the week.
They recommended many books and supporting resources for us to continue our healing at home.
Really enjoyed my experience - thank you, Reunion!

The Reunion Experience: An Ayahuasca Journey...
Recently, I watched a documentary by East Forest entitled "Music for Mushrooms." I was so moved by his story and commitment to psilocybin ceremony that I immediately went to his website to conduct research. That is when I found out that he was going to have a psilocybin retreat at Reunion. Upon further research, I discovered that there is also ayahuasca retreat there and decided to apply for this much needed opportunity.
Honestly, there were a multitude of reasons (e.g. finances, work schedules, relationships, wildfires, etc.) to not fully commit to this experience. Thankfully, with the support of my therapist and supervisor, I was able to fully commit to attending this event and maximize the journey. I am extremely grateful that I did so because it Mama Ayahuasca and Mama Pachamama has transformed my life. Since I journey with severe depression, CPTSD, insomnia, childhood abuse and trauma, each day of my life is based in recovery from these mental health conditions. Although I have been actively working on developing my body and mind, I was in desperate need for a spiritual space, community, and experience to elevate my life.
This is exactly what transpired within the span of a week at Reunion. All of the Contributors are so respectful, responsible, and resourceful. I instantly felt like I was welcome and belong there. As I continue the latter half of my journey back home, I am actively utilizing all of the experiences, resources, memories, and tools that Reunion has afford me. Ultimately, the people who I journeyed with at Reunion are now instrumental to my day-to-day life and I am now part of a global community based on Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect (PLUR). If you are willing and able to attend a retreat here, I highly recommend you do so. Be well.

Incredible Experience!!!
I partook in the one week Ayahuasca retreat about two months ago and I can honestly say it was a life changing experience in all positive ways. The property was gorgeous, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff was amazing! I have already referred several friends to visit. The Ayahuasca experience helped me confront and move past some major life barriers that had been holding me back for decades. I came home renewed and refreshed, with deeper sense of gratitude for my life and my family, and the tools that I needed to make positive change in my life. I cannot say enough about my experience, and those from my retreat who I have stayed in touch with feel the same. If you’re going to experience Ayahuasca, this is the place to do it!
