4-Day Psilocybin Immersion in Tulum
2 Guided Ceremonies, Boutique Jungle Stay & Integration at Ik Balam Eco Village

Overview

This 4-day, 3-night psilocybin immersion is designed for those who feel called to explore mushroom medicine in a safe, intimate, and personally guided setting.

The experience takes place at Ik Balam Eco Village, our boutique holistic center near Tulum.
Unlike larger retreat venues or shared retreat centers, Ik Balam is private, peaceful, and intimate.
For this immersion, the space is reserved for the participants, creating a calm and protected environment where the process can unfold with privacy, care, and personal attention.

The 4-day program includes two guided psilocybin ceremonies, preparation and orientation, basic integration support, accommodation for 3 nights, and meals according to the program.

The program is adapted from our deeper 5-day psilocybin format, but redesigned for travelers who want a shorter, more concentrated experience while still having enough time for arrival, ceremony, rest, integration, and a second guided journey.

Location: Ik Balam Eco Village, Tulum Area

Ik Balam Eco Village is a small boutique jungle resort and holistic center located in the Tulum area, surrounded by nature and designed for quiet, private, restorative stays.

The atmosphere is peaceful, intimate, and beautiful. It offers the feeling of a small private resort, while still keeping the natural, earthy and ceremonial essence of the jungle.

This setting is ideal for psilocybin work because it allows participants to disconnect from noise,
crowds and tourism, and enter a more contemplative rhythm.

The property is especially suitable for people who want more comfort and beauty than a rustic jungle camp,
while still staying in direct contact with nature.

The space includes:

Private boutique lodging
Jungle garden areas
Pool and relaxation spaces
Ceremonial areas
Quiet outdoor corners for reflection
Comfortable common spaces
Natural surroundings
Privacy and intimacy
A small-resort feeling, without crowds

The key value of this location is not only the accommodation itself, but the fact that the environment is completely private, contained and available for the process. This creates a very different experience from attending a ceremony in a shared or busy location.

Accommodation Options

A) Dome Igloo: 2 KING SIZED BEDS (max capacity 4 guests)

The Dome Igloo is a unique lodging option at Ik Balam Eco Village.

It offers a memorable stay with a distinctive dome-style design, combining the feeling of a nature hideaway with the comfort of a boutique eco-lodge. The space is intimate, quiet and well suited for rest, contemplation and recovery after ceremony. It's construction design is intended to maintain the temperature cool.

The Dome Igloo is ideal for guests who want something special, private and atmospheric, with a strong connection to the natural surroundings.

B) Nicte Ha Villa (1 KING SIZED BED + DOUBLE SOFA BED + SINGLE BED SOFA

The Nicte Ha Villa is a more spacious option, ideal for guests who prefer a higher level of privacy,
elegance and room to rest.

It is especially recommended for couples, close friends, or participants who want a more elevated boutique-style stay during the immersion.

The villa offers a more refined experience while maintaining the calm, natural and intimate atmosphere of Ik Balam Eco Village.

The Experience

This immersion is created for people who are not simply looking for a “ceremony,” but for a complete, guided experience around psilocybin mushrooms.

The focus is personal. We take time to understand your intention, your previous experience, your current emotional and physical condition, and whether this type of work is appropriate for you.

The ceremonies are guided by our practitioners in a ceremonial and therapeutic atmosphere, supported by preparation, presence, music, breath, silence, nature and integration.

The work may be emotional, spiritual, symbolic, introspective or deeply personal. Every person experiences psilocybin differently, so we do not promise a specific result. What we offer is a safe, respectful and well-held container for the process.

Program Structure

Day 1: Arrival, Orientation and First Ceremony

Arrival and check-in from 2:00 pm.

You will have time to settle into the space, meet the team, receive orientation, and prepare for the first ceremony.

The first psilocybin ceremony is usually gentle to moderate, depending on the participant’s profile, intention and previous experience. The purpose of the first session is to open the process, connect with the medicine, and begin the inner journey without forcing intensity.

Dinner is included after the ceremony, according to the rhythm of the group and the process.

Day 2: Rest, Integration and Preparation

This day is dedicated to rest, integration and grounding.

After the first ceremony, the body and mind usually need space to process. The day may include personal reflection, time in nature, quiet conversation with the facilitators, and preparation for the second ceremony.

Depending on the group and the individual needs, we may include a small introductory session about psilocybin, responsible use, traditional and contemporary perspectives, and the importance of preparation and integration.

This day is intentionally spacious. We do not overload the schedule because the real work often happens in the quiet spaces between ceremonies.

Meals are included according to the program.

Day 3: Second Psilocybin Ceremony

The second ceremony is usually the deeper ceremony of the immersion.

By this point, the participant is more familiar with the space, the facilitators, the rhythm of the process and the medicine itself. This allows the second ceremony to go deeper into introspection, emotional release, symbolic vision, personal insight or spiritual work.

The intensity is always approached with care and personal alignment. We do not believe in pushing people beyond what feels appropriate. Safety, respect and presence are more important than intensity.

Dinner is included after the ceremony, depending on the timing and the needs of the participant.

Day 4: Breakfast, Closing and Check-Out

The final morning is dedicated to grounding, breakfast and closing the experience.

There is time for basic integration, final conversation, and practical orientation for the days following the immersion.

Check-out takes place after breakfast, unless a later arrangement has been previously coordinated.

Ceremony
I had a great experience. René has a way of making you feel safe. I thought he was talented, knowledgeable and we got to do small recaps of the end ceremonies each night which really help me get settled in for the night. The medicine itself is amazing. There really are no words to describe what happens when you connect with Mother. The way she brings you to these places youve been avoiding and saying focus here my love. And its like youre abundantly aware this pattern is a problem and its waiting on you to fix it. Waiting on you to accept it and be gentle with yourself. I definitely got to embrace one of my biggest fears with love and kindness. The instruments René played really helped connect to spirit. He had this one chime instrument that I swear transported me to another life. All of the instruments did honestly. Different parts of my life. It wasnt like a dream but more like memories I had long forgot. I dont have the words to describe the way it feels to have those memores again. Besides deeply grateful. The medicine is gentle so if you think youre not ready thats you being mean to yourself. If youre reading this youre ready.

My only suggestion is they leave you with some kind of machete in the hut. A poisonous snake tried to come in my hut but I used pots and pans to scare it away. Had it gotten inside there is no way of really protecting yourself especially if you're solo. So maybe bring your own? Or maybe dig deep as I had to and face it head on. Not sure on that one lol but I enjoyed myself regardless.

Thank you René and team for having me. Hope we meet again.

Bufo experience
To start off the the jungle atmosphere was amazing. My shaman, Renee was amazing, and i felt safe and in good hands the entire time. I used bufo to cap my recent ibogaine treatment, and i feel amzing. Id say the old me is back, but i cant ever remember feeling this great. So lets say the new me is here, and ready to face life head-on. Plant medication is a miracle, its not always easy. But anything worth doing rarely is.

Peyote Ceremony
The whole experience was great. The convenience of having a taxi service associated with pick up and drop off was key.

The setting in this jungle village was really nice. And our guide Rene was amazing and very skilled and talented with all the different instruments he played during the experience. Rene also made us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the entire experience.

I would highly recommend this!
