About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Price includes lodging, programming, fitness/yoga classes, contrast therapy and meals. Extra experiences (like massage or 1:1 coaching) can be added on separately after you register.

Everything on the schedule is optional. We want you to get what you need out of this weekend.

Check-in is Friday between 2:00-4:00pm. The first session is 4:30pm on Friday. We wrap up on Sunday around 10:30am, but we are about an hour outside San Diego and recommend planning some buffer time for travel and lunch so you're not rushed leaving. We also have an early-check in option* if you'd like to add an extra day and come on Thursday. Then you would have 3 nights and 2 full days of full access to the property amenities, classes, and pre-retreat programming. You'll see that add-on as an option when you register.

Join us for a transformative retreat as we close the chapter on 2025 and prepare for the year ahead. This is more than just a goal-setting retreat; it’s an opportunity to look back with kindness and curiosity, exploring what worked, what didn’t, and why we sometimes get stuck in the same patterns. We’ll dive deep into how we spend our days, what we give our time to, and how we can move forward with intention, investing in the work, relationships, and activities that truly bring us life. Let’s create a purposeful plan for 2026, where we’re not just reacting to the loudest demands but focusing on what matters most.

OPTIONAL WORKSHOPS
subject to change.

Pre-Session Workshop: Early Check-In Reflection
For early arrivals, join us for a pre-session workshop designed to set the tone for the retreat. We’ll start with a guided reflection on the past year, exploring what it means to review our year with kindness and curiosity. This session is about laying the groundwork for deeper exploration, giving you the space to start thinking about where you've been, what you’ve accomplished, and where you want to go. It's a gentle introduction to the work we’ll be doing together, offering a moment to pause and consider the journey so far.

1. Mapping Your Year: A Reflective Timeline
In this workshop, we’ll create a visual timeline of your 2025, mapping out key moments, achievements, and challenges. By examining how you’ve spent your time and energy, you’ll gain insight into what has been driving you and where you may have gotten off course. This exercise helps you see patterns, recognize accomplishments, and identify areas for growth. It’s about acknowledging all you’ve navigated and using that understanding to shape your path forward.

2. Understanding Stuckness: What Holds Us Back?
We all have goals and intentions that, year after year, seem to elude us. This session dives into the root causes of what keeps us stuck. Through guided reflection and group discussion, we’ll explore the fears, habits, and beliefs that hold us back. You'll gain a clearer understanding of why certain goals haven’t materialized and learn practical strategies to move past these barriers, making room for new possibilities in 2026.

3. Celebrating Wins: Recognizing Progress and Growth
It’s easy to focus on what we didn’t accomplish, but what about the progress we've made? This workshop is dedicated to celebrating your wins—big and small—from the past year. We’ll discuss the importance of acknowledging our growth and how recognizing our achievements fuels future motivation and confidence. This session is a reminder to give yourself credit for what you have done and to carry that positive energy into the new year.

4. Intentional Living: Designing a Life That Matters
As we look forward to 2026, how can we be more intentional about where we invest our time and energy? In this workshop, we’ll explore how to align your daily actions with your values and long-term vision. Through exercises and discussions, you’ll identify the activities, relationships, and pursuits that bring you life and how to prioritize them in the year ahead. This is about creating a plan for 2026 that’s not dictated by the loudest demands but by  the work and relationships that truly give you life.

Why This Matters
This retreat is about more than setting goals—it’s about gaining perspective on how we live our lives and making intentional choices for the future. By reflecting on 2025 with kindness and curiosity, you’ll gain clarity on what drives you, what holds you back, and how to create a more purposeful and fulfilling 2026. Join us to invest in the activities, work, and relationships that truly make you whole.

Who This Retreat Is For
This retreat is for anyone ready to reflect on the past year and make more intentional choices for the future. If you've struggled with getting stuck in the same patterns or want to understand why certain goals remain out of reach, this is for you. Ideal for those looking to refocus on what truly matters—whether in personal life, career, or relationships—and align their actions with their values in 2026.

Attention to Detail with all the personal touches
Wow. What a spot. The Oaks has everything you need to rest and make a memory or two. Instagram-worthy decor - imagine if Joanna Gaines remodeled a youth camp - makes this place cozy and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and kind and learned everyone's name the first day. The food was on the level of any resort you could go to. And the pool - let's just say that you HAVE to do the slide and high dive. I'd say more but let's do our best to keep this gem of southern California a secret.

A wonderful escape to slow down and focus on one's self
I registered for a weekend retreat, and was rewarded with a place to rest, find some clarity (and tools to use for later), make connections with others, and relax. The weekend had emotionally challenging conversations and workshops, as well as time for fun. I would like to go back again, and make The Oaks part of a regular rhythm of my life. You have to show up, and make the space to do the emotional, and spiritual work. You will get out what you put into the program. The food was delicious- in a way that you were not stuffed and, never left feeling hungry, to be fueled for the day. I am sure that the menu was intentionally designed to provide you a healthy foundation for the weekend. The property is gorgeous. I often just laid under the oaks to read and reflect, and enjoyed sitting on the deck, in a rocking chair, connecting with others.

Amazing grounds, staff and food!
Loved everything about The Oaks! The room was lovely, very clean and well furnished. I stayed in the Kendall building. The food was EXCELLENT and was able to accommodate for my gluten-free and dairy-free food options. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful, esp with the golf carts bringing you back and forth to your car and helping with the bags. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. My favorite part was the trail riding and also the hike to the water tower to watch the sunset. Highly recommend for a solitary retreat or group retreat or any other type of retreat event!
My only advice would be to allow extra time to get there- depending on where you are driving from. I drove from the Orange County area and it took over 3 hours to get there on a Friday afternoon (left at 2pm and got there around 530pm). On the way home- late Sunday afternoon- it only took an hour and half to get back (no traffic).

Absolutely Fantastic
This was my second time at a Flagship Retreat at The Oaks.
The property is well appointed, comfortable, and not at all cluttered.
The staff is delightful and very hospitable. I felt right at home the moment I arrived and all throughout the weekend.
The pace of the Flagship Retreat is spot on. They have truly crafted all of the right elements for a thoughtful, restful, and very fun retreat.
I'll be back!

WOW
I just finished a Flagship Retreat with Stephanie!!! WOW and WOW again is what is on my heart. She lead from a place of peace, love, and GRACE. The weekend was exactly what I needed. From her, the crew of volunteers (Ellie, Ellie 2 (Stephanie's daughter), Rossi, Rica, Jeremy, Maggie and hub Zane, and the chef's - EVERYTHING was fantastic. I highly recommend this retreat and The Oaks for any event or meeting. Thank you!
