7 Day Ayahuasca Retreat at an authentic Finca in Mexico

This was my second retreat at Mexisoul, and the experience was just as incredible as the first one.
Everything was absolutely perfect: the warm welcome, the magical setting surrounded by animals, the kindness and genuine care of the entire team. You feel supported, listened to, and nurtured from beginning to end.
The team truly loves what they do, and you can feel it. The food is amazing, nourishing both body and heart.

A Life-Changing Experience at Mexisoul Retreat
In June, my wife attended a Mexisoul Retreat. I’ll admit, I was initially skeptical—but I encouraged her to go. When she returned, she raved about the experience, calling it life-changing. She had trouble even putting her feelings into words.

After hearing her describe what she went through, I decided it was time for me to try it myself. I've been extremely preoccupied with work over the last few years, and I knew I needed to reset and refocus. I hoped this retreat could help me do that.

From the start, the experience was exceptional. After signing up, I had scheduled calls with Ruger and Liberty. Both pre-interviews were incredibly thorough and helped address any concerns and reservations I had.

Upon arrival, we were greeted at the airport by a very friendly driver who was waiting for us at the gate. He drove us to the property, which was absolutely stunning. The grounds were filled with beautiful structures, lush scenery, and animals roaming peacefully—creating a tranquil and restorative environment. The support staff was warm, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable.

As for the ceremonies themselves—it’s difficult to put into words. “Life-altering” is the closest I can get. The Shaman, Humberto, is one of the most influential people I’ve ever met. His lectures were filled with deep wisdom, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping us help ourselves. His presence alone was healing.

Humberto’s support team was just as impressive. The servers and musicians played a crucial role in the experience. I want to specifically mention Carlos, who provided much-needed assistance and support throughout the journey. The servers were attentive, caring, and always made us feel safe and protected. They took a personal interest in our well-being and were always available when needed.

And the music—the guitarist and the band were phenomenal. Their sound elevated the entire experience, creating an atmosphere that allowed you to completely lose yourself and go deeper into the process.

But most importantly, it's the people who make Mexisoul the gem that it is.

The women retreat was an absolutely transformative experience, guided by three extraordinary women whose energy and love created a powerful space for healing and growth.
    •    Luisa, the astrologer, shared her deep knowledge of the Moon, Lilith and Venus within our natal charts with such empathy, wisdom, dynamic and care. She offered empowering insights that helped me see myself in a new light, always with love and compassion at the center of her guidance.
    •    Krista, a kind and wise guide, provided us with invaluable life tools and a sense of protection throughout the journey. Her gentle yet strong presence made us feel safe and supported at every step.
    •    Katie, with eyes full of love and empathy, radiated warmth in every interaction. Her energy was grounding and nurturing, reminding us of the beauty of connection and compassion.

The retreat took place in a beautiful finca, a serene and secure setting where even free horses roamed gracefully, adding to the sense of harmony with nature. We were also blessed by a powerful woman musician, whose sensorial and healing medicine music touched our hearts deeply and elevated the entire experience.

The massage I received from Gaby was absolutely lovely — grounding, restorative, and releasing so much stress stored in my back. It added another layer of healing and balance to the whole journey.

The support staff were also truly special — protective, caring, and always attentive, making us feel loved and safe in every moment. They also prepared delicious, nurturing food that nourished my body.

And most of all, the whole group of powerful women who came together in this space made it unforgettable. We shared healing, love, and hermandad — a true sisterhood. Together we created a tribe, a bond I will always carry in my heart.

All of these elements wove together into a sacred and supportive environment where true transformation could happen. I leave this retreat feeling renewed, empowered, and profoundly grateful for the love, wisdom, and healing that was shared. 🌿💫

This is the 1st time I can remember going to something just for myself & I’m now 69 years old! I was going solo, nervous & out of my comfort zone!
I felt well taken care of from the moment I got off of the plane. There was great communication & I felt very safe. Mexisoul is such a beautiful place! Again~very safe, their rooms are amazing & the entire week is planned out extremely well. The food is fantastic & the staff are all very compassionate & caring. There are several activities to choose from for free time including horseback riding, art workshop, yoga, hiking, massage & more.
The ceremonies are explained & guided well by Krista & the workshops with Luisa were extremely helpful & needed in my healing process. Katie was a loving angel serving plant medicine hapé & kambo.
I have struggled with rejection most of my life & didn’t realize it was still holding me back. I finally feel healed. I honestly feel more like myself than I ever have…content free & more focused.

I attended a MexiSoul plant medicine retreat at El Finca al Péndulo in Mexico from September 24–30, 2025. The ceremonies incorporated hape, psilocybin, satori, and bufo. Each medicine was thoughtfully introduced by the facilitators, who shared its history, traditional uses, preparation methods, expected effects, and duration. While clear dosing recommendations were provided, participants were encouraged to choose what felt right for their own comfort level and readiness — a perfect balance of guidance and personal empowerment.

The ceremonies took place in the circular Osho Hut, a sacred space built of natural stone and wood with polished marble and rich hardwood floors. The thatched roof, with its intricate weave, draws your gaze upward and inspires deep contemplation. The energy in the room flows freely, carried by the rhythms of extraordinary live musicians who guide each journey — from powerful tribal beats to tender ballads to playful improvisations.

This was my first psilocybin experience in a ceremonial setting, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. Krista, our medicine woman, embodies spiritual strength, intuitive wisdom, and deep compassion. Her presence, along with the attentive and caring support team, created a safe and nurturing container for vulnerability, healing, and growth. I truly cannot imagine a better space to explore the depths of my own consciousness.

Beyond the ceremonies, participants are invited to join complementary experiences such as temazcal, cacao ceremonies, yoga, art, and horseback riding. The food is nourishing and delicious, with thoughtful options for all dietary needs. A personal highlight was the ever-changing selection of fresh, vibrant fruit juices crafted for each meal — a small but joyful daily ritual.

MexiSoul also offers integration support through an on-site psychologist, which I found invaluable. Returning to everyday life after such profound experiences can be both a challenge and a gift; for me, the integration sessions helped ensure it became the latter.

I look forward to returning and continuing this journey — not to become a “better” version of myself, but a truer one, more in alignment with my authentic core.
