Each day, immerse yourself in yoga, meditation, and holistic workshops guided by
Shaira, a Mexican curandera, and Salvador, a medicine musician—both with over
10 years of experience in ceremonies and spiritual guidance. Participate in
transformative practices such as Temazcal and Cacao ceremonies, and explore
the Medicine Wheel, herbalism, and rituals as tools to empower your self-
discovery journey.
Medicine Wheel
Explore this sacred symbol found in many cultures, representing the directions of
the universe and their reflection within ourselves. Learn elemental harmonization
practices using herbs, fire, air, and water.
Ceremonies and Rituals
Take part in cacao and temazcal ceremonies, fire rituals, amulet crafting, energy
harmonization, intention setting, cord cutting, and other sacred practices.
Experience a ceremony that integrates the four elements to help you embody and
anchor the teachings of the retreat.
IntegrationA closing space to share experiences, answer questions, and take home practical
tools for everyday life.

Located in La Punta, Zicatela, Puerto Escondido, Barbarenas is just a short walk
from one of the world’s top surf spots, surrounded by tropical vibes and a laid-
back beach atmosphere. Explore nearby beaches, enjoy fresh local cuisine, or
browse artisan shops for a truly Oaxacan experience.
