Aurélie is a teacher of Kundalini Yoga, (gentle yoga ) intuitive dance, and medicine singing.

Details of this retreat
More than a typical art retreat, this is a unique creative experience designed to help you reconnect with yourself and nature. You don’t need to be an artist to belong here, yet it is equally inspiring for those who are.
Our retreats focus on self-expression, self-awareness, and self-confidence. There is no pressure, no judgement, and no need for experience. It’s about letting go, being inspired, and expressing what’s inside.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of La Maison de l’Artiste, an artist’s residence in the heart of the Normandy countryside in France. Discover your inner artist and reconnect with yourself, other women, and nature through art.
Through art therapy and creative expression, alongside gentle Kundalini yoga (breath, movement, and sound), art meditation, nature walks, and moments of joy and laughter, you’ll begin to open up, let go, and feel like yourself again. You can also take time to relax and enjoy a massage.
So many of us doubt our creativity, only to create something beautiful once we let go. Here, it’s not about the result, it’s about the process. A space where you can be present, express freely, and simply enjoy creating.
You’ll be guided by Alison through a range of art activities including painting, drawing, working with clay, reflective journalling, and art meditations. Along the way, you’ll gently build confidence, move past the fear of the blank page, and explore your thoughts and feelings through creativity.
This is a space to laugh, to share, and sometimes to cry. A space to reconnect, to feel, and to come home to yourself.
Is this retreat for you?
If you feel disconnected from yourself
If you feel tired, overwhelmed, or stuck in doing
If you struggle to express your emotions
If you long to feel joy, freedom, and connection again
If you want to create without judgement
If you want to fall back in love with yourself
Then yes, this is for you.
You don’t have to be an artist to be creative.
All you need is a desire to explore, and the courage to express yourself.
Whether you come alone or with friends, this is a space where everyone is welcome.
There is something special about this place. It feels both tucked away and deeply connected, like being in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of everything at once.
Return home feeling more grounded, inspired, renewed, and full of love for yourself.
