Highly Disappointing
Specialists Roberta and Amy were kind and helpful, and the facility itself was beautiful with decent food. Unfortunately, the ibogaine treatment was a terrible experience. You're made to trip while blindfolded, hooked up to an IV, and watched by two so-called "nurses" who chatted and giggled the entire time, offering no real support.
It took about six hours to feel anything, and when it finally kicked in, I was given far too much. I ended up extremely sick, vomiting multiple times, and barely felt anything therapeutic from the experience. I eventually passed out and woke up feeling completely drained. The entire process left me so hungover and out of it the next day that it ruined two full days of my stay.
What was pitched to me by Caleigh, the CXO, as a healing, love-filled experience turned out to be nothing close. The environment felt more like rehab than a wellness retreat. They went through my personal items and confiscated anything they deemed "unacceptable" without explanation.
I was especially looking forward to horseback riding, but the treatment left me feeling so unstable I didn’t feel safe enough to go.
Overall, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete waste of time, money, and energy. Look elsewhere for care that truly respects and supports you.
