Tranquil, Peaceful, Retreat
I was intending to stay for a week but left after 3 days. Lured by words such as retreat, tranquil, peaceful, I found myself in room 7, approximately 20-25 m from major earthworks going on involving the dumping of many truck loads of roadbase with graders and backhoes creating what seems to be a new car park. On the afternoon of the second day loads of bitumen/ashphalt arrived. For the 2nd and third day the toxic fumes of the bitumen (known to be carcinogenic) filled my room day and night. The third day I left early to avoid the fumes to return at night to sleep and awoke with a headache the next morning. I left.
I feel there was a lack of communication at the time of booking and a failure to advise me in advance of the earthworks. They also had the opportunity to allocate me a room (many were vacant) much further away from the earthworks.. Very disappointed for the reasons mentioned above.

Yoga experience at Krishna Village
Spent 7 days at yoga Village, was a very cheap way to enjoy various styles of yoga and various yoga teachers.
3 big veg meals a day plus a kinda Spartan accommodation for $420 in a beautiful subtropical setting. If ya like yoga and friendly people this place is for you.

Krishna village
This is a real escape to make you feel reenergised, well rested, stronger and fitter. The multitude of classes each day caters for all tastes and levels. The food is fantastic, healthy and cooked with love. The surrounding area allows you to take a drive to a beach in 30 minutes or have a wander in all the lovely villages. Accomodation is clean, comfortable and peaceful. I can highly recommend the Krishna Village and will definitely be back.

2 night stay
I booked a room in the Lotus Pod for my stay at Krishna Village. I had room 3, with share bathroom (for lotus pod guests only) and nice little private patio at the front.
Bed was super comfortable and the room felt cozy and welcoming.
There was lots of noise after the quiet time curfew which kept myself and other guests awake until late. Sounded like a party near the communal kitchen grassy area. Normal when yoga begins at 5am!
Besides that everything else was great including meeting other guests and the delicious food. I would’ve loved to stay longer.
