Madison Callahan - Intake and Integration Specialist
Madison is a mother of 3, Bwiti Iboga Provider, Natural Childbirth Advocate and Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Plant Medicine Integration Specialist.
Madison’s journey with Iboga began in 2012 in a search to end her own generational traumas and become a more healthy woman, mother, and community member. Her background in midwifery brings a nurturing aspect to the retreats, and she sees many parallels between giving birth and re-birthing yourself.
Madison is a true student of life, and has led countless women’s ceremonies, studied various spiritual paths, and eventually landed on Iboga as her healing modality of choice.
She was Director of Iboga Healing Center Costa Rica for 5 years, and is now leading the Intake and Integration Program at Iboga Medicine Portugal, as well as supporting individuals after their plant medicine journey.
Rupi Moussanza Saran - Iboga Provider
Rupi spent six months in Gabon to receive her training as a lead Iboga provider, where she learned to embody the Bwiti teachings and wisdom. Her initiation into the tradition was a life-changing experience.
Straddling difficult cultures, she’s no stranger to societal pressures, and often felt her life must look and be a certain way. For example having an arranged marriage within her religion and expected to live life to meet cultural conditioning.
To heal, she turned to yoga; Buddhism, Astrology, Reiki and all that encompasses the New Age Spirituality. But in her constant searching nothing brought her the peace she longed for or the realness she craved.
Iboga showed her what she’d done to herself and how to undo a lifetime of conditioning and pretending. She got real with herself and with the clarity from her soul she knew her calling was to help others find joy in self-honesty,
Rupi is a rare provider who uses humor and warmth to help people navigate their healing and to not fear seeing themselves and their soul for perhaps the first time. She’s a wise guide and generous host and working with Iboga plant medicine she’s achieved tremendous results in healing people from all over the world
Bwiti Iboga Provider: Steven (Moubengui)
The path that lead me to Iboga began as a young man seeking answers, seeded by a profound feeling that there was more to life than what was being offered. Along the way, I have been guided to many great teachers of different traditions, whom have helped me to deepen my connection to the earth and the ways of our ancestors.
As a father of four children, I recognize initiation and rites of passage as deeply important links in our life chain that must be remembered to keep our connection to our soul alive. My personal journey with Iboga brought together all of these teachings and feelings into one TRUTH that I see as a key to the health of our nation at this time. The healing that Iboga brought to me and my family shifted our lives forever, profoundly allowing me to come to peace with trauma from my past and become a better father and husband.
The opportunity to travel to Africa with a 10th generation shaman to experience a full initiation with the Bwiti, an amazing intact indigenous tribe, was an incredible honor. Since visiting Africa I apprenticed with my shaman for 8 months and graduated his training program as a provider.
I then worked at Iboga Wellness Center as head provider; leading ceremonies, facilitating guided Iboga journeys, administering dosage, providing counseling to participants, and performing traditional spiritual shower ceremonies. I worked at Iboga Wellness for almost 2 years, treating hundreds of people before opening my own center, Iboga Healing.
I am truly thankful to be a part of this movement and I am excited to be supporting this plant on its journey of the health and rejuvenation of mankind.
