About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Personal Overnight Retreat Weekend
Please select the number of occupants in the cabin when making your cabin selection. For group rates and availability on more than two cabins, please email us.

If you have interest in a longer-term stay (one or more months) at the Forest, we encourage you to look further into our residency programs.

During a personal retreat, you structure your own time and select for yourself how best to be present to the Sacred. You can take time to be alone and read, journal, sit in silence, walk in the woods, be creative, or whatever calls to you. On personal retreat, you are free to join our community in our daily sitting meditation times (Thursday through Saturday at 7:00am, noon and 4:30pm, and Sunday at 9:00am) or to spend your time in solitude. Each night you book with us comes with three meals: a light dinner (the night you arrive), self-serve silent breakfast, and lunch.
Day of Zen with Tulsa Zen Sangha
As a personal overnight retreat guest, you can attend the Day of Zen free of charge. Simply add it on when you register!
Spiritual Direction/Companion Sessions
You may wish to add a private session with one of our spiritual directors or companions. These trained individuals provide spiritual guidance and companionship to those seeking to deepen their spiritual life. The cost for a one-hour session is on a sliding scale from $40 to $80 paid directly to the provider by cash or check. If you would like to schedule a session for spiritual direction, please notify our staff, no later than one week in advance sending an email.

Such a beautiful sacred place!
The peace and tranquillity of the property are evident from the moment you close your car door. The people on-site during our visit went about their activities without disrupting the ambience. There were ample places to meditate, pray, and interact with nature. Gardens and hiking trails were beautiful and inviting. I definitely plan to return.

Menopause Retreat
I learned more about menopause this weekend than I ever had; I appreciated the honest conversations with a fantastic group of understanding women going through the same physical changes.

Rites of Passage retreat with Jenny
Osage Forest of Peace is a magical place, and the retreats offered here are well worth the time, effort, financial investment, and participation. In the Rites of Passage retreat (initiating into perimenopause/menopause), not a single detail was missed. This retreat was a wonderful, connected, empowering experience. Jenny was a terriferic guide; offering a wealth of wisdom, enthusiasm, modeled vulnerability, and passion. Thank you so very much for creating this space and for responding to the inner call with a willing "yes."
