Dr. Kevin Zapata

Kevin David Zapata is a doctor graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira - Colombia in 2018. He is currently a researcher in the field of traditional medicine practices with plants; he is also a musician who loves medicinal songs and a follower of ancestral indigenous medicines, specifically Ayahuasca, Kambo, Rapé, Mambe and Ambil, under the direction of the Kamentsa Biyá, an indigenous community of Colombia. He has experience in the treatment of chronic diseases in the field of rheumatology, cardiology and nephrology acquired during years of private practice; in addition, he has cultivated a special interest in the holistic medicine, which gives him a sensibility to provide medical and spiritual support in traditional ceremonies.

Oliver Glozik

Oliver, the founder of Ayahuasca Retreat Guacamayo, is a former corporate executive and entrepreneur who exchanged traditional success for a path of personal growth and transformative healing. Inspired by his own journey with Ayahuasca, he now dedicates his life to guiding others through their own self-discovery and self-mastery. Utilizing his business background, Oliver seamlessly blends logistical expertise with his passion for plant medicine, creating an impactful retreat experience designed to help individuals unlock their true potential.

Sergio Henao

As a former philosophy professor Sergio Henao has been looking for answers to many questions of mankind and found his calling in the service of people and helping them find inner peace with the work of plant medicines.

Jenna

Jenna is integral to the creation of a safe and supportive container for participants, and the family/communal vibe with our groups during retreats. She facilitates the ice bath and art therapy sessions and is a helper in Aya ceremonies.

We provide 3 meals a day. On the day of the ceremony 2 meals. The food is rich in protein (chicken and fish) and fresh fruits, we also cater to vegetarians / vegans and other dietary preferences.

Couldn't wish for a better retreat!

My first time ever on such a retreat. I did research and this one stood out because it had great reviews, and because it didn't feel as commercial as many of the other retreats I came across. So I took the plunge and booked. Honestly, it was the best decision ever!

The venue was new, intimate and with soul. Beautiful grounds, clean facilities. The team, led by Oliver, Kevin, Luna were truly wonderful. So approachable, warm, caring. You almost get the impression they're like a family that's inviting you into their home for a cup of tea. As for the journey itself, wonderful. Led by Sergio, it was all orchestrated so well.

Last but not least, a huge shout out to the two beautiful dogs who kept us company over the course of the four days.

Unique powerful and beautiful healing

If Ayahuasca calls to you, this is the team you want to help you through the encounter. They are experienced, good humored, and genuinely caring. The ceremonies can get surprisingly intense but they know various methods to manage the energy of each individual and how to guide the collective energy through the use of beautiful music. Outside of the ceremonies: the food is great, the activities are restorative, and the location is beautiful. Struggle to see myself going to any other retreat in the future.

An Experience I’ll Carry With Me - WHOLESOME

I recently attended an Ayahuasca retreat with them, and it was truly a transformative experience. The facility was located in a gorgeous place with an amazing view, far from any noise and surrounded by the sounds of nature. The retreat center was impeccably clean, and the facilitators felt like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made everything go smoothly and easily.
The food was delicious, healthy, and diverse, catering to all dietary needs. The schedule was beyond perfect, offering much more than we paid for, including meditation, yoga, sound healing, ice baths, massages, and more. It was not just an Ayahuasca retreat but a full package that you won't find anywhere else.
I am so happy and grateful that I chose to do it with these amazing people. I will definitely go back!

What a Powerful man

its almost hard to put in words but Sergio has an innate capability to feel the energy of the room, it's almost as if it's a 6th sense. He is so connected to each and everyone of the participants that you can feel his energy while on the ayahuasca. Every time he sings or plays an instrument I feel like he knows exactly when to do it at the right time. It would enhance my experience helping me go deeper inside myself. Healing music is what I call it The energetic cleansing I did at the end of the ceremony was nothing short of an exorcism... im not a religious person but I could literally feel the negativity, the shame, the guilt everything I didn't want in my life peeling off of my aura... I'll be forever grateful for having met Sergio and for all the great work he does!

Oliver has been a really great guide for the whole experience, you can see he has been very mindful about working with the plant medicine since the beginning of his journey. I always love the insights he shares to help me go deeper with my connection with myself and the ayahuasca. Even if he is quite a bit younger than me I feel like he's so much more wiser and has motivated me to go deeper in my self work because I feel so inspired by him.
