About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Since time immemorial, paths have been portals to the unknown—initiatory journeys where the soul faces its own essence. And it is that essence that calls us to embark on a journey of ancestral connection, following the call of the spirit that invites us to discover the vastness of the Great Mystery.

With trust in our hearts and a spirit of service, we open this energetic portal to invite you to be part of a gathering that unites two sacred paths: the ancestral wisdom of Ayahuasca, the medicine of the Amazon, and the Camino de Santiago, a route steeped in history, spirituality, and personal transformation.

The Camino de Santiago has roots that go beyond Christian tradition. Originally, these routes were ancient Druidic and Celtic paths, used for pilgrimage and connection with nature, the stars, and the divine. In this retreat, we honor that ancestral heritage of the Iberian land and weave it together with the ceremonial practices of Ayahuasca, creating a space where these two traditions embrace one another.

The experience begins in a special retreat center where we will open a space for healing and deep connection, preparing our body, mind, and spirit through Ayahuasca and conscious awareness. Once the ceremonies are complete, we will embark on the next step: beginning the Camino de Santiago. Over approximately 100 kilometers, divided into several stages, we will integrate the insights received, walking with awareness, embracing the beauty, magic, energy, and mysteries of this ancient path.

-A Unique & Innovative Proposal

As far as we know, this proposal is unprecedented. It is a sacred meeting of two ancient worlds—the Camino de Santiago, with its Celtic and Druidic roots, and the medicine of Ayahuasca, from the heart of the Amazon. Our purpose is to create a space for healing, integration, and connection that honors both traditions, recognizing the wisdom of the lands that support us.

-Stage 1: Romean - Ferreira (40km)
-Connection with the earth and the essence
The beginning of this path calls us to connect with what is essential, with what has always sustained us: the earth. As pilgrims, we leave behind the unnecessary and surrender to the path with humility, consciously treading each step. This stage reminds us that everything solid had its origin in the subtle and that, before reaching any goal, we must honour our roots.

-23 June
-2nd Stage: Ferreira - Melide (21km)
-The way of faith
The pilgrim advances not only with his feet, but also with his trust in the mystery. On this stretch, the Camino speaks to us of faith: not only in the divine, but in our own capacity to move forward. We encounter the footprints of those who have travelled these routes before us, leaving behind them the energy of their prayers, doubts and certainties. Faith on the Camino is not a dogma, but a personal discovery that reveals itself in every encounter and in every silence.

-24 June
-3rd Stage: Melide - Arzúa (14 km)
-Abundance
The spirit of the Camino is generous and invites us to receive with gratitude and to give from the heart. The legend of the hungry pilgrim and the bread turned to gold teaches us that true wealth is not measured in possessions, but in hospitality, compassion and giving.
Today we walk with an open heart, recognising that every encounter is a gift and that the universe always provides when we trust its flow. Abundance is a state of being, a reflection of our capacity to share and receive without attachment.

-25 June
-4th Stage: Arzúa - O Pino (17 km)
-Healing and Rebirth
The path takes us into the sacred oak forest, a natural sanctuary where time seems to be suspended. The waters that surround the path invite us to heal, to release what we no longer need and to allow body and spirit to find rest.
Here, water is medicine. We wash not only the wounds of the feet, but also those that the soul has borne during the journey. On this stretch, body and mind align with the rhythm of the path, and healing manifests itself in stillness, in rest, in silence. We learn that transformation does not always come with a bang, but with the softness of an enveloping breeze.

-26 June
-Stage 5: O Pino - Santiago (22 km)
-The Sacred Threshold
We are nearing the end of the journey, but the real closure is not in the arrival, but in the way we have travelled the road. On this day, each step is both a farewell and a welcome. We prepare to cross a threshold, aware that something in us has changed forever.

In the late afternoon we will have a circle of integration, in which everyone will be able to express what they have experienced, the insights they have gained and the seeds they have taken away from this journey.

-27 June
-End of Retreat
-Farewell and closing
We will meet in the morning to share a last breakfast together, a moment of farewell, gratitude and hugs before we each go our own way.

With a full heart, we say goodbye knowing that this journey does not end here, but continues to beat with every step we take in our lives. May the spirit of the Camino continue to accompany us.

Amorawa - January retreat
After some initial apprehension, as I was slightly entering the unknown, on arrival we were met warmly and were welcomed with open arms into Amorawa. Carlos, Vanessa, Laura and Desiree were a perfect team who balanced each other beautifully all bringing something unique and wonderful to the experience, while remaining attentive to any needs that arose. The ceremonies were full of magical music played and sung by the team that made the experience both enchanting and absorbing allowing the medicine to take us to wherever was needed. Each ceremony took us deeper and the shift in the participants from the first day to the last day was incredible. The integration sessions helped everyone to consolidate their experiences and were led in a sympathetic and practical way. There was an abundance of delicious food always on hand and the love and warmth that went into every detail of the retreat made it an unforgettable life changing experience. Thank you!!!! Charlie
