Welcome! I’m Margherita Dal Pra and my mission is to help you on your path of self-discovery through yoga, nutrition and self-help. I live in London where I teach classes at The Life Centre as well as in Muswell Hill. I also organize yoga retreats worldwide, for example in Italy, Spain or Goa in India, and I offer private yoga classes in London.
WHAT I TEACH
In my yoga classes I aim to give you the tools to allow you to see yourself as you already are: a radiant and joyful being! My classes are a marriage of Anusara yoga and ParaYoga®, brought together by the lineage and depth of the philosophy of Tantra. Expect a modern-day Hatha flow yoga class that aims to let you experience bliss and joy in your yoga practice and your daily life!MY YOGA JOURNEY
My personal yoga journey began in 1994 in Italy. It was as if I had started breathing for the first time and I discovered the person I call “I”. I was hooked! My enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge were awakened. I started practising daily and soon my health, emotional well-being and whole life were transformed in the most positive way. I became a yoga teacher in 2003. Since then I’ve met and trained with the most gifted teachers, including Aadil Palkhivala, founder of the Purna school of Yoga alignment-based style, Shiva Rea who introduced me to Prana Flow, and Rod Stryker who taught me the Parayoga® method and with whom I continue to study and find inspiration. In 2008 I discovered the heart opening grace and therapeutics of Anusara Yoga, a style of hatha yoga that incorporates all the aspects of yoga that I love. I studied and continue to study with Sianna Sherman, Bridget Woods Kramer, Zhenja La Rosa, Ross Raybourn, Jayendra Hanley, Bruce Bowditch, Marc St Pierre and Desiree Rumbaugh. I will always be a student first. My passion for understanding and knowledge is vast, and the more I explore and learn, the more I’m able to share my wisdoms in a new and vibrant light. It’s a true blessing and honour to share this journey with my wonderful students. I am fully insured with British Wheel of Yoga and am a certified E-RYT500 Yoga Alliance US and SYT Yoga Alliance UK. I am also in the process of becoming a RYS-200 (YA Registered Yoga School). I’ve been mentoring teachers in training at Yogacampus Teacher Training diploma course since 2008.Details of this retreat
A sun-soaked, soul-nourishing escape to the south-eastern corner of Sicily.
This retreat is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body and breath, and move gently with the rhythm of summer. Expect deeply held yoga practices, beautiful food, open skies, and time to truly exhale.
A Rhythm to Return to
Each day begins with a dynamic, alignment-based practice to awaken the body and breath. Afternoons are yours to enjoy. Rest by the pool, explore the surrounding countryside, or dive into a good book. Evening sessions are gentle, restorative, and grounding, helping you unwind into rest.
Mid-week we’ll take a boat trip along the coast, time to swim, snorkel and soak up the beauty of the sea.
What’s included
• 7 nights’ accommodation in a beautifully restored Sicilian farmhouse
• Morning and evening yoga with Margherita and Michaela
• 3 nourishing, vegetarian meals each day (with some local fish options)
• A mid-week boat trip along the Sicilian coast
• Plenty of time to rest, swim, read, and explore
• Optional excursions to nature reserves and local villages
• Full use of the property’s pool, terraces and quiet spaces
Accommodation
All rooms are located at our beautiful Sicilian retreat venue, a restored 19th-century farmhouse surrounded by olive groves, almond trees, and rolling countryside. Every room is thoughtfully styled with rustic charm and plenty of space to unwind. Choose between shared or single occupancy depending on your preference for company or solitude.
