1 to 1 mushroom session, near Barcelona, optional overnight stay

I had a one to one ceremony with Oliver in July in Alpens, a pretty village in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees. I was a bit apprehensive beforehand about the ‘rituals’ that might be involved - I'm not keen on rituals, and Oliver readily obliged, so only lighting and blowing out a candle was done. He also agreed to use a playlist of my choice, supplemented by his own music - but looking back I wish I’d chosen to have only Oliver’s music! He’s very kind and attentive, and made the whole experience not at all scary. He’s also been very helpful in my post-ceremony integration phase. Many thanks. Oliver!

I took part in a one to one ceremony with Oliver in mid July. It was my first experience of this kind after years of intrigue. I had some apprehension in the build up to the ceremony but this quickly dissolved and gave way to a beautiful experience amid the perfect setting of Alpens and in the company of a great guide, Oliver. I am beyond grateful to Oliver for facilitating this experience and for his kindness throughout.
I would have no hesitation about coming back again in the future!

This was my first time ever trying anything like this and I had an incredible experience. I was aprehensive at first but after reading the reviews and having a call with Oliver, I was more than comfortable attending.

In addition to the beautiful villa and setting, what really stood out for me is the care provided by Oliver and Carla. I really couldn't ask for a better experience. They were very accommodating and genuinely care about the well-being of the participants and making sure everyone is comfortable and has a good experience. They intentionally only run retreats 4 times a year and cap it at 6 or 7 participants.

I could not recommend After the Rains more. I'm not surprised that 3 of the 6 participants had been to a After the Rains retreat in the past. I surely look forward to coming back for another retreat.

I really want to thank them for everything. I had an amazing and truly inspiring experience and recommend that anyone considering attending to do so.

From the very first moment, this retreat was nothing short of extraordinary. Every aspect of the experience was handled with deep care, professionalism, and heart. Oliver, in particular, brought a presence that was both grounding and compassionate—his kindness set the tone for the entire journey.

Our connection began with a thoughtful one-on-one introduction online, and by the time I arrived at the breathtaking retreat house nestled in a stunning natural setting, I already felt held supported. Any nervousness I carried was quickly dissolved by Oliver’s warmth and gentle reassurance.

During the ceremony, his presence was steady and attentive. Whether it was offering a glass of water, a blanket, or simply being there with a comforting embrace, Oliver met every moment with intuitive care. I felt safe, seen, and completely supported throughout the entire psychedelic journey.

I truly can’t recommend this experience enough. It was powerful, healing, and deeply human. Thank you, Oliver—especially for the perfect touch of AC/DC when it was needed most. That moment still makes me smile.

This was my first Psilocybin experience (or psychedelic experience of any kind) and I was quite nervous leading up to it. I was so comforted by the hosts throughout the process. In the pre-booking phase, they offered a call and we could talk about my goals and fears and they shared some research to help me make an informed decision. Upon arrival, they were so welcoming and already felt familiar. The group of people were all extremely open and friendly - very cool that in total we were 9 people (including hosts) from 9 different countries, but all felt like we were able to connect quite immediately.

The mushroom ceremony had a spiritual and respectful approach. I had some hopes of what I wanted to heal through this experience and it was that and so much more. I felt like it was a huge rite of passage for me into a more complete version of myself. I felt like I walked out a more aware and whole person. The mushroom journey was intense and at times painful, but extremely beautiful and healing. I imagine I'll want to come back to participate in this retreat again at some point and tap into that deeper wisdom again.

The setting of the retreat is really stunning - the nature was so lush in May. We all felt that the rooms and common areas in the newly renovated old farmhouse were above expectations. It felt really comforting to have my own very calm space to come back to. Meals were all freshly prepared and delicious! The food was quite healthy, but also filling and satisfying. We had beautiful local delicacies too. I'm sad it's over but I'm so grateful and I feel I have some new friends for life.
