About this Retreat
Was born in Cuenca, Ecuador and at an early age his qualities of perception of spirits and energies were awakened, Since he was 20 years old, he began helping Taitas in ceremonies, and some time later he began to perform his own ceremonies. He first learned to work with Huachuma from Taitas of the Andes. After this he was introduced to Mama Wilka by a shaman from the North of Bolivia, and was initiated in this almost-lost Inkan tradition. He learned to work with Ayahusaca from several respected Shuar Ubishines (curanderos) in the jungle of Gualaquiza.
Mukipal has a unique ability of being able to feel the pains of other people, just upon meeting them. This helps him to give excellent cleansings, which can take away physical, mental and spiritual pains and illnesses.
Details of this retreat
Many of us face the ghosts of anxiety and depression in our daily lives. We suffer and lose our emotional balance, putting at risk our work, family, and sentimental relationships due to the presence of these mental and neurological conditions.
These conditions often arise from unresolved or poorly processed experiences in our lives — addictions, failed relationships, toxic family dynamics, traumas from sexual, physical, or psychological abuse, and in some cases, hereditary influences.
These experiences trigger a chain of reactions that often lead to the use of pharmaceutical medications, which in some cases do help control panic attacks, high blood pressure, and even prevent strokes or heart attacks. However, they do not address the root cause of the problem.
In this program at Corazón de Pachamama, we will take a deep retrospective and analysis of our life, beginning from the moment we were conceived and carried in our mother’s womb. Many of us may have experienced moments of stress, pain, sadness, or rejection — perhaps from being unwanted children, from our parents’ emotional or psychological struggles, or from early experiences of abandonment. All of these may have shaped the anxiety and depression we experience today.
Week 1 – Healing Our Origin
During the first week, we will work with our gestation and childhood, the stage where the first emotional roots of our existence were planted.
Through three sacred ceremonies with San Pedro, Ayahuasca, and Mama Huilka, we will enter a deep process of recognition and release of the memories we carry from the womb and our earliest years of life.
These ceremonies will help us unblock energies and emotions that may have remained trapped in that stage, allowing us to heal the soul and witness in our lives the liberation from anxiety and depression that we have been experiencing.
Week 2 – Healing Our Youth
In the second week, we will focus on the stage of our youth, during which many of us may have lived through painful or traumatic events that became the roots of the anxiety and depression we experience today.
As in the previous week, we will hold three sacred ceremonies with San Pedro, Ayahuasca, and Mama Huilka, to release any unresolved wounds from that stage of life that continue to affect our emotional balance today — allowing us to heal the soul and restore inner peace.
Week 3 – Healing Our Present
In the third week, just as in the previous stages where we worked with our childhood and youth, we now turn our gaze toward the present moment — the life we are living today.
Through three ceremonies with San Pedro, Ayahuasca, and Mama Huilka, we will explore the emotional, mental, and spiritual patterns that affect our daily life and relationships.
This week is dedicated to bringing consciousness to our current reality, understanding how our past still influences our present, and allowing the healing power of the sacred medicines to restore peace, clarity, and harmony within our hearts.
Week 4 – The Week of Healing
In the fourth and final week, known as the Week of Healing, we go even deeper into our process of transformation and purification.
We will hold two Ayahuasca ceremonies, where we will experience a total physical and spiritual cleansing, releasing any remaining emotional or energetic residue from unresolved experiences — allowing complete and profound healing of the soul.
We will close this sacred journey with one San Pedro ceremony of gratitude, honoring life, our healing, and the spirits that have guided us throughout this path.
This final stage will be accompanied by personal one-on-one experiential therapy with the shaman and therapist, a healthy and conscious diet, and encounters with the spirits of nature — integrating ourselves with Pachamama and the Universe, and realizing that whatever we call God lives within us.
We will come to understand that happiness and healing are not outside — they live within our own hearts, waiting to be remembered.
After the program, participants will receive ongoing experiential support, with biweekly 1-hour online follow-up sessions to continue integrating and strengthening their healing process.

Admission & Fees – Corazón de Pachamama
Admission & Costs
Joining the therapeutic comm unity of Corazón de Pachamama is a relatively brief process, but not an immediate one. We do not handle emergency cases. Family members may assist with the initial inquiry; however, after the first communication, all further contact must occur directly between the prospective participant and the therapist overseeing the process. Admission is based primarily on the individual’s personal motivation for healing.
We receive applications year-round from both local and international candidates, and admission dates are scheduled according to available openings and ongoing communication.
We recommend starting by sending an email with the subject “Treatment Request” to: [hello@corazondepachamama.org].
After this initial message, the therapeutic team will outline the next steps.
Before any admission decision is made, the applicant must participate in one or more interview video calls, depending on what is necessary in each case. These interviews help clarify any questions, deepen the understanding of the applicant’s motivations, and evaluate whether the program is appropriate for their current situation.
The admission process begins with completing a basic health declaration and a motivation–presentation letter through an online form. Additional conversations may also by phone or video to address emerging questions and further explore readiness for treatment.
Once the applicant and their family agree with the treatment conditions, and all admission requirements have been fulfilled, an entry date will be confirmed.
Admission Process
To be considered for the program, each applicant must provide:
Motivation–Presentation Letter:
Includes personal history, addiction background (substances used, frequency, duration, previous treatment attempts), criminal background, past and current medical conditions, and motivations for entering the program.
Health Declaration
Commitment to Residency Letter
Therapeutic Contract, completed together with the responsible family member
All documents must be fully completed and submitted in original form on the day of admission.
Eligibility
Corazón de Pachamama primarily accepts people aged 18 to 50.
Candidates over 50 may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on their medical condition and addiction history.
Cases involving alcoholism are evaluated individually, especially for older candidates or those without a supportive family environment after treatment.
Wait Times
There are no fixed admission dates throughout the year.
Family Contact
During the first three weeks, participants do not have direct contact with their families or the outside world. This period supports introspection, stabilization, and personal clarity.
Family members may communicate with the designated psychologist for updates on the participant’s condition.
Admission
Corazón de Pachamama reserves the right to admit or discontinue treatment if necessary—especially in cases where participants struggle to accept treatment conditions or community norms.
Residential treatment is offered only to individuals with substance dependence (legal or illegal) or behavioral addictions (gambling, pornography, gaming, compulsive shopping, etc.). Personal motivation is essential for committing to the therapeutic work.
The center is designed for individuals who, despite their challenges, still possess basic autonomy and social functioning. Certain cases require deeper evaluation:
Strong dependence on psychotropic medication combined with substance use
Severe psychiatric disorders (psychosis, schizophrenia)
Serious or terminal physical illnesses (including advanced immune deficiency)
Disabilities that significantly reduce personal autonomy
Marked lack of sociability that disrupts community living
Need for continuous or specialized medical care
Applicants are requested to address any dental issues prior to admission, to avoid interrupting the process with dental procedures.
