About this Retreat
Cameron Madill holds a graduate degree in positive psychology and has trained in Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy. You can read his work at RelationshipScienceGuy.com and today he runs Happy Couples Project, focused on group date nights and workshops that help couples recapture the feeling of joy and connection from when they first met.
He is the founder and former CEO of PixelSpoke, a successful B Corp that he sold to his team in 2019 in an innovative employee cooperative model (one of less than 1,000 in the U.S.) which led to him realizing that his true passion is helping people build strong relationships. He has since conducted original research with over 600 business owners and their spouses to understand how thriving relationships drive both personal wellbeing and sustainable success.
Cameron’s dedication to entrepreneurial relationships is deeply personal. He and his wife, Anna, a successful fellow entrepreneur, live in Portland where they are actively engaged in their local entrepreneurial community. They welcomed their son in 2020.
Cameron believes that strong relationships are key to running a successful business and living a happy life, and he’s dedicated to helping others achieve this balance as well.
As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, Kyong’s approach to facilitation is rooted in safety, trust, and intention. She specializes in working with complex trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression. She has served as a study therapist on several clinical trials involving psychedelic-assisted therapy, which has strengthened her belief in the healing potential of psychedelic medicine.
Details of this retreat
Welcome to Odyssey's first couples' psilocybin retreat!
This retreat is tailored for couples who want to better understand themselves and each other. While so often relationship work focuses on what can go wrong, we will focus on what can go right as you lean into a life of self-compassion, greater understanding, acceptance and intimacy, and deepening your shared purpose and passion together. Through integrated journeys, self-reflection, and shared reflection, you will lay the foundation to deepen your relationship with yourself and each other.
Important note: this retreat is not appropriate for couples dealing with untreated addiction, ongoing affairs, or abuse.
