Sewing Retrest
I spent 3 nights last week at the retreat center and loved it. Hidden Falls just opened and everything is new and well done. Bed linens very nice. Anything we needed was there.
Tastefully decorated and very charming. Large well equipped kitchen. Ice makers and coffee pots. Front Porch swing if you need a quick break.
The sewing area is a large two-car attached garage. There were 13 of us and It was a bit tight but very doable. easy to chat and learn from other quilters. The sewing area is fully equipped with anything and everything you needed. Very accommodating. Good irons and large design boards.
The second day we ate lunch at The Bread of Life, a Mennonite buffet/restaurant. They also have a cute boutique in the restaurant.
And then a 10 minute drive to. “The Quilters Trunk”. A nice and very reasonably priced. Quilt store.
Restaurant and quilt shop about 15-20 minute drive from Hidden Falls.
Toni the owner just happened to be there when we arrived. Always nice to meet the owner and she was Very welcoming.
Three hour drive from Cincinnati.
