  • 1 Wilka ceremony: A powerful, visionary medicine for healing. This medicine was the most sacred of the Inka.

Join us for a sacred journey in the Andes guided by Taita Miguel and Katie. This intimate retreat weaves together Ayahuasca, San Pedro (Huachuma), and Wilka—three powerful teacher plants that open the heart, cleanse the spirit, and awaken inner vision. Through a series of traditional ceremonies, limpias, plant baths, and nature immersion, you’ll be guided to release what no longer serves and realign with your true essence.

Itinerary
8-Day Ayahuasca, San Pedro + Wilka Retreat
December 4-11, 2026 | Malacatos, Ecuador


Day 1: Arrive at retreat around 11am-1pm. Settle in, and enjoy lunch. We will walk to a sacred mountain in the evening and have a Cacao ritual on the mountain to give offerings, set our intentions and pray.

Day 2: Today we will have a guided meditation and breakfast. We will go to a nearby river to have an energy cleansing ritual in the afternoon, share a snack of fruits and have a discussion about the plant medicines. Rest, journal, and meditation before the first Ayahuasca ceremony at night, beginning around 8pm.

Day 3: Today we will have a sharing circle in the morning, breakfast, and rest. We can use the spa - pool, hot tub, and steam room. We will have lunch, and a workshop in the afternoon. Dinner in the evening, and a guided meditation at night.

Day 4: Guided meditation + movement in the morning, breakfast, and then we can go for a drive in the mountains to see a nice spot with waterfalls. We will share a snack in the afternoon, and then rest again, connecting with ourselves before the second Ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 5: Morning sharing circle, guided meditation + movement. Breakfast, and then educational workshop. In the afternoon, we can have plant baths for energy cleansing. Lunch and dinner. Rest + recovery day.

Day 6: Guided meditation in the morning, and we will go for a walk in a Wilka forest. In the afternoon, we will have a Wilka ceremony. Sharing circle, and dinner at night.

Day 7: We will have the San Pedro ceremony today, beginning around 8am and going until the afternoon. We will rest and share dinner, and enjoy the spa in the evening.

Day 8: We wil share breakfast together, talk about integration plans for the return home, and depart anytime by 11 am.

Directions

To arrive to Malacatos:
OPTION 1 (FASTEST): You can fly to the Quito airport and take another flight to Loja (called Catamayo airport). From there you will take a taxi to Malacatos. The flight is around $100 and the taxi is $35

OPTION 2: Fly to Quito or Guayaquil airports (Guayaquil is closer) and take a bus to Loja (about $20). From there, you can take a taxi ($20) or bus ($2) to Malacatos.

Accommodation

Each room offers a spacious, open, and comfortable sanctuary designed for rest and reflection between ceremonies. Large windows invite in natural light and mountain air, creating a serene connection to the surrounding nature. The rooms are simply furnished yet cozy, with thoughtful touches that support grounding and relaxation—your own peaceful space to integrate, dream, and restore. The home is nestled in the Andes and also has a spa on site with jacuzzi, steam room and pool. There is hot water, wifi and laundry available on site.

We serve simple, healthy foods during the retreat. We offer fresh, local, organic produce and chicken and fish for those who eat it. Meals are mainly vegetarian. We also can make vegan meals.
