About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Nourished by the natural beauty of this peaceful alpine setting, we will explore the true nature of the human mind/heart. Drawing upon the liberating practices of the Insight Meditation tradition, we will offer meditation instructions and Dharma talks that support quieting the mind and engaging with experience intimately. Nature-based practices and rituals will allow us to acknowledge and celebrate our interconnectedness and shared belonging to the larger web of life.

As part of this journey we will practice holding the ecological and social challenges of our times in a way that cultivates resilience and responsiveness. Our intention is to create a space for grief, anger, and fears to be met with loving awareness while bringing forth the heart’s capacity to open to joy, beauty and the mystery that permeates every moment. With the support of community, we will inquire into what life is asking of us as human beings in these unique times.

This retreat is open to individuals new to practice as well as seasoned practitioners. Weather permitting, we will practice outdoors with the land as much as possible.

Adore this place
This retreat center is situated with uninterrupted views of the Indian Peaks, with a stream flowing through it and aspen and evergreen forests. The retreats I’ve attended here are really well considered and simple and comfortable. The teachers they draw together are amazing and it was created tangible benefits in my day to day experience.

A perfectly designed retreat.
The balance of silence to teachings to community were ideal. Led by facilitators of great experience, wisdom and the ability to teach. A week of learning on a great natural property, about Beauty, Love and Oneness.
