Celebrate the magic of the festive season with a cosy Christmas escape in the heart of the Wicklow countryside.
Stay for 5 nights from 24–29 December and pay for just 4 nights. Your stay includes a breakfast hamper and free use of all The Deerstone facilities throughout your visit.
Experience Deerstone's signature blend of wellness, relaxation, great food, and festive cheer as you unwind amongst nature and enjoy a carefully curated four-night retreat designed to help you slow down and reconnect over the Christmas break, December 24th-29th.

Choose how you stay: book an entire cottage for friends or family (including the dog – we're proudly dog-friendly), or escape to one of our unique shepherd's huts, perfectly designed for two. Whether you're planning a winter gathering or a peaceful Christmas retreat, Deerstone offers the perfect setting to relax and recharge.

With early check-in from 1pm and late check-out at 1pm, your time is your own from the moment you arrive.
On 27 December, join us for a gentle movement session in The Roundhouse, with Christmas movies running in the evenings for cosy nights in.
Everything else is yours to enjoy at your own pace — Christmas walks, fireside evenings, good food and time together.

Make the most of your surroundings with electric bike rental, or take a short trip to the breathtaking Glendalough for scenic hikes, lakeside walks and fresh mountain air.

Back on site, unwind in Deerstone’s communal wellness facilities, including the sauna, hydrapool, cold plunge, jacuzzi, and Japanese soak spa.

If you’d like to elevate your stay, a range of optional experiences are also available on site, including massages, guided hikes in Glendalough, private yoga sessions. Please ensure you book in advance!

Whether you’re gathering with family, escaping with friends, or simply looking for a few quiet days away, spend Christmas at The Deerstone surrounded by the Wicklow countryside. Cosy evenings, crisp winter walks, Christmas films and time to switch off — a slower kind of Christmas, with space to enjoy what matters most.

9.30am: Relaxing Yoga Flow & Pilates in The Roundhouse (adults only)

10.30am: Free time to use Facilities – saunas, cold plunge pools, swim spa & hot tubs, or take a hike in Glendalough, or bike ride around Laragh on complimentary electric bike rental (booking essential)

6.30pm: Cinema night in The Roundhouse- bean bags, blankets, and all the cosy vibes

All of our cottages come with one complimentary welcome breakfast hamper which includes juice, granola, seasonal compote, eggs, yogurt and home made brown bread with jam and butter. Luxury Eco-Cottages The cottage features three en-suite bedrooms: the first is a versatile super king room that can be converted into a twin if needed, while the other two are fixed as comfortable en-suite king bedrooms. Double Ensuite Shepherd's Hut: Self Catering

All of our huts come with one complimentary welcome hamper which includes juice, granola, compote, yogurt and home made brown bread with jam and butter. Ivy & Juniper Family Shepherd's Huts come with double bed, kitchenette with small peninsula, electric stove and seating area. Please note our Shepherd's Huts are adult only. Shepherds Huts Fully furnished with beautifully crafted interior with stove. Shower en-suite with award winning Eco compost WC. All of our huts are in a studio layout with a small kitchen and toilet in a sperate room. Dog friendly with a €30 fee. Adults Only. Shepherd's Huts amenities VOYA organic toiletries | Hairdryer. Bathrobes & Spa towels. Eco flip-flops. Electric BBQ. Private outdoor terrace. Each unit includes a private wood-fired Japanese hot tub. Amazing stay as always

Had an absolutely beautiful few days celebrating my birthday at the wonderful Deerstone in Wicklow. Definitely my favourite spot on the planet!
From the moment you arrive, there's such a lovely sense of peace and calm. The relaxed ambience, stunning natural surroundings and thoughtful little touches make this place so incredibly special.
Myself, my sister enjoyed cosy evenings by the fire, relaxing outdoor baths, surrounded by nature. There's something truly magical about the Deerstone. It's a place that gently encourages you to slow down, breathe a little deeper and simply enjoy being in the moment.
It's not just somewhere to stay, it's an experience that nourishes the mind, body and soul.
We also enjoyed a beautiful day exploring Glendalough, making the most of the gorgeous Wicklow countryside with my favourite little furry friend Daisy, who also adores the Deerstone!
It's not often you find somewhere that feels so peaceful and restorative, yet so welcoming and homely.
I came home with a very full heart, lovely memories and a renewed sense of calm.
Thank you to everyone at Deerstone for another truly special experience. The sweetest staff.

I never wanted to leave

My stay at the Deerstone was the highlight of my trip to Ireland. After I booked, the team began communicating with me to ensure my stay would be exactly as I hoped. They arranged for a massage on the property and had my wood-fired pizza ready for me for dinner later that evening. It was the perfect end to a day spent hiking in the nearby mountains.

The property itself is lovely - filled with native plants and set up in a way that creates privacy and community equally. I really enjoyed my hut, which was perfectly appointed with everything I needed for my stay: sandals for the sauna and cold plunge areas, shoes for walking the grounds, robes, blankets, a private fireplace outside next to my seating area, a private Japanese bath outside, all the firewood I needed, and a breakfast bonnet with some of the best yogurt, compote and granola I've ever had. They even delivered me fresh ground decaf coffee when I inquired.

I highly recommend The Deerstone to individuals, couples, and groups looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and intentional stay.

Thank you Deerstone for a lovely weekend. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the surrounding & picture perfect of the place.it was so relaxing & being able to pause & reset. Being so close with nature & able to bring our little dog with us.

An exceptional stay in a breathtaking setting

This was truly an exceptional stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely beautiful.

The entire property and grounds are stunning, incredibly well looked after and exceptionally clean. It’s clear how much care and attention the owners put into the place. We saw them around every day, working and making sure everything was perfect. They were so lovely, friendly and helpful, and all of the staff were equally welcoming and attentive.

The cottage was absolutely amazing, beautiful, cozy and incredibly comfortable. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, while still having all the facilities and little luxuries you would expect from the best hotels.

The sauna, hydro pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and the relaxation area was beautiful, peaceful and so cozy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, making the whole setting truly spectacular.

We spent two fabulous days here with my mum, cousin and aunt, and we all absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed some delicious pizzas during our stay, lovely, freshly made pizzas with a perfect thin crust!

A huge thank you to the owners and the entire team for making our stay so special. We absolutely loved every minute and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

A serene, unplugged escape in the beautiful Wicklow wilderness

We spent two nights here, in one of the shepherd's huts, and it did us the world of good. From the saunas to the cold plunges, Japanese baths to the stoves, there was so much to occupy body and mind - encouraging you to unplug from routine. Barely looked at our phones all weekend, went on beautiful hikes, listened to live music in the local pub, read our books in bed till 11am, played darts... To top it all off, they have thought of everything. Dressing gowns, towel robes, flip-flops, an honesty bar, and wonderful staff. You'll want for nothing, and spend your time there totally at peace. Highly recommend, and will most certainly be back.
