Excellent spot
A beautiful, peaceful setting for a relaxed weekend. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and everything has been well thought out.

Stunning location
What an amazing spot - every single detail from the moment we arrived was thought about. The accommodation is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, with everything you need - robes, towels, flip flops, beautiful toiletries. The surroundings add so much to the whole thing. We had yummy pizzas and super tasty breakfast delivered to the house. We’d a great Pilates session and got to glendalough to admire our surroundings. The there’s the saunas and hot tubs - what a treat!
The staff couldn’t have ever more helpful. I really hope to be back!

Beautiful peaceful hideaway
Stayed with my sister and a friend in one of the cottages. Beautifully finished. Stunning peaceful location. Staff really friendly. Pilates class was lovely. Breakfast hamper was delicious - the yogurt was to die for!
The private hot tub and sauna facilities were fabulous.
My only other feedback would be that it would be helpful to provide more instructions on how to work the oven and projector. We didnt get the projector linked up to our phones to watch a film which was a shame. Also, the showers at times went a little cold when we had back to back showers in the cottage but it wasn’t a big deal.
Apart from that however the place was practically perfect.
Would recommend the roundwood stores and coach house for coffee/ treats/ a meal - a literal 10 min drive away :)

Weekend away
My husband and I stayed in Deerstone on the bank holiday weekend .
Weather was miserable so couldn't use outside hot tub first night .
Had a few issues next day with things not working , so was offered some money back , which was good I thought .
Overall we thought it was over priced for what it was .

I wish I was there now
We stayed for two nights in one of the shepherds huts with our dog . I had chosen this as a selfless (ha) gift for my partner and even before we arrived I was touched by the loving attention to detail . When there was a hiccup with the Christmas post the voucher was hand delivered to my home on Christmas Eve. We arrived in the cold of early January greeted with cups of warm apple cider , stuffed dates and brownies followed by a tour of the area . There is a freedom about the place that I wasn’t expecting and throughly enjoyed . That you , at anytime can light up a sauna fire or heat up the Japanese wood bath or stroll to the beautifully decorated cozy barn , wrap up in a blanket by the fire and help yourself to a drink from the honesty bar .. it is truly a break from the norm. We weren’t with a group so we didn’t use the yoga studio but we did peep in and it was certainly a space perfect for purpose , bright and spacious with the sound of the river next to it. I got up early Sunday and had a swim in the heated outdoor pool , there’s such a novelty of feeling warm while swimming in the rain . It is the type of place you leave already planning when you might make it back .
