About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Description:

This retreat is a relaxed, team-supported experience designed for those seeking rest, nourishment, and exploration. Rather than being led by a single teacher, our whole team is here to care for you—whether through movement, food, nature, or stillness.

Throughout your stay, you'll be invited to connect with nature, your body, and a slower rhythm of life. Try morning yoga, forest walks, sauna rituals, or simply enjoy time to rest, read, or float in the hot tub.

We’ll share homegrown meals, seasonal foraging, and time to move  — each adventure is a chance to experience our philosophy of connection, care, and rooted living. This is a space to exhale, to move at your own pace, and be supported by a welcoming team and beautiful surroundings.

A beautiful & unique stay
We stayed here over a long weekend and it’s a truly beautiful experience. Deerstone has a very cool laid back vibe with a lovely hint of luxury.

The interior design is honestly fabulous and each hut has its own jacuzzi: my kids loved this literally outside the door!

The main pool and common areas are well kept and thought out for maximum appreciation of the outstanding landscape.

Deerstone is located perfectly for anyone looking to explore Wicklow .. you’re with 20- 30 min drive of amazing beaches and gorgeous mountain walks.

We had an issue with the toilet and shower but it didn’t upset our overall experience. The staff were very pleasant when we alerted them of the issue.

This is a great option if you’re looking for the luxury of a 5 star hotel but want more freedom than being restricted to only a bedroom. It all feels very private and special.

Good luck to you all a Deerstone and thank you so much for such a great stay .. I hope to be back x

2-day stay in Lodge
Recently had a 2day stay in one of the Lodge rooms (B&B) and it was superb. Peter gave us a wonderful welcome and all staff were very helpful throughout our time there. It is a very peaceful location which I would fully recommend to anyone wanting a break from it all... Saunas were great, loved the chillout area, was very comfortable. Breakfast delivered to the room was gorgeous! Overall, we had a lovely lovely time ... Hope to get back and get one of the Shepherd's huts next time....

Incredible experience
Stayed at The Deerstone recently for a work related retreat. Cannot recommend it enough! The grounds are stunning, the accommodations are beautiful and immaculate. The food was out of this world. But what really stood out was that not matter who you dealt with at The Deerstone, they were so friendly and welcoming. Customer care at it's best!

The perfect place
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Deerstone! We stayed in a Shepherd's hut, and it was perfectly stocked with everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The breakfast hamper provided had wonderful, fresh, and local products. We loved the sauna, hot tub, and community spaces. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves because of the smart layout. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy wild Ireland. We were so close to Glendalough, Lough Dan and Ballinstoe Woods that we were able to see them all.

A beautiful place to stay, with beautiful views and a cosy cottage
Elm cottage was beautiful. An amazing place to stay and a place we would love to return to.
The welcome breakfast hamper was lovely. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for our stay and the hot tub was the perfect addition which the kids loved. The location was perfect and very peaceful. A short walk down the road to the nearest restaurant was a great benefit in the evenings after a day out exploring. A place that we would love to come and stay to again.
