About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

This will be a wonderful journey for the initiation to your true
essence. A time of introspection, self-knowledge, cleansing, self-worth,
purification and detachment.

You will be able to have an approach to the greatest source
of life on our planet, to the lungs of Mother Earth. Touring
magical places and corners of the Amazon rainforest.
We will learn from the ancestral wisdom of indigenous
shamans, we will find answers, solutions or closures to
personal situations.
We will become aware of the ecological
and medicinal importance of the jungle and the different
traditions of the territory. We will meet people related to the
life path we walk. This way we will return with tools to live
our day to day in a more free, healthy and harmonious way.
The MIRA team will guide and accompany the trip and
ceremonies.

This trip is therapeutic and medicinal, so we will be in direct
and close contact with each participant before and after.
From the moment a person decides to join, spaces are
opened to work, meet and review expectations, in order to
carry out together a personal development work, which
brings us to the best state of consciousness to receive this
gift of traveling together to the Putumayo Jungle.

A profoundly transformative experience
Starting with a long phone call with Paula before receiving confirmation (to make sure it's a good fit and to answer all my questions) I was made to feel so absolutely safe, supported and welcomed by the entire team of MIRA every step of the way.
I was picked up from the train station by the lovely woman who owns the house we stayed at for the duration of the retreat. She dedicated herself to care for us like a mother and made me feel at home at all times during the four days I stayed there. The facilities were absolutely lovely and the location was really great. The beautiful stone house is right in the middle of nature, which felt so peaceful and there´s nothing more special than being able to witness the sun rise in absolute silence after each ceremony.
Through our sharing circles I know, that very single person in the group had a profound experience that felt like it deeply changed them and my personal experience was more than I could have ever hoped for.

I was dealing with a lot of resistance during the first two ceremonies, so much that I am sure it was very difficult to deal with me and Paula, Xavi, Dani and Taita Samith each showed me so much grace and helped me so patiently in their very own way in finding the trust to surrender to the medicine so she could give me exactly what I didn´t know I needed.

On the morning after the first ceremony, I had my first encounter with Kambo. I was the only person wanting to participate on that day while many others decided for the day after so I offered to join this group to not cause any inconvenience. Paula and Xavi decided to do the ceremony anyway, just with me. Letting myself being cared for by these two very special humans, having their full attention and accepting and surrendering to all of it was a moment of profound healing in and of itself for me, who is so used to always care for others.

It is very difficult to find a retreat that is authentic, decolonial and not rooted in the commercialization of the indigenous culture, and it is almost impossible to do so in Europe. Believe me, I have searched for quite some time. Vision MIRA is just that. I left with deep gratitude, wonder and profound appreciation for the chance of having been in the presence of such immense indigenous wisdom and love and I am humbled by the dedication put forth by the whole team in bringing healing to those who seek it. I will be returning with absolute certainty.

The beautiful humans of Vision MIRA have created something truly amazing and special and I fully and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

All the best
Amelie

A beautiful journey with the Mira family
I had my first experience with the plant with the Mira family on a two days retreat. It was beautiful and the way they organized it helped me to be in the best conditions to get in contact with the plant I think. Beautiful location, with space, surrounded by nature, and experiencing it outdoor, under the stars, was important for me. It was very nice to have a pool to relax and recover. The meals were super good. And the people working to get everything settle for us, so we can just relax and be focus on ourselves, were amazing. Thank you to the shamans, to keep us safe and to accompanied us in and out of the trip. Big love to you all 💖

Not just a retreat - a home and family
Being with Mira Vision has been one of the most profound experiences of my life. The people behind it are incredibly kind, wise, and deeply devoted to creating a space of true connection. What touched me the most is how everything centers around growing together, as a community, while still honoring each person’s individual path.

You’re given space to heal and evolve on your own terms, but never once do you feel alone. There’s this quiet, powerful presence of guardianship, you’re protected, seen, and held. If you need guidance, someone is always there with an open heart.

I’ve never felt my heart so full and complete. I’m endlessly grateful to have met such inspiring, beautiful souls. To me, they are not just facilitators, they are family.

A Journey of Trust, Healing and Transformation
I couldn’t be happier with my decision to trust Vision Mira for my first experience with the medicine.
From the very first moment—the initial call to clear all my doubts—to the support before, during, and after, everything was handled with so much care, kindness, and respect.
I was only able to fully surrender, body and soul, because I felt safe and supported the entire time.
Paula, Xavier, and Dani are truly beings of light, radiating peace, calm, and love. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet them.
And to the wonderful women who prepared all the meals (the food was delicious!), who kept everything clean, and helped with everything so wholeheartedly, thank you for your love and care.
This was my first time, but definitely not the last.
I’ll see you all soon.
Gratitude to everyone who made these three days the most transformative of my life.
The lessons and experiences I’ve had here are ones I’ll carry with me forever.

Healing and Connection
After starting my own healing journey nearly 5 years ago, I had started utilising plant medicine and was ultimately led to my Vision Mira family.

It’s hard to describe the experience as it is so unique and special that words cannot fully cover it! However, it is important to note that throughout the experience, you are completely held by the family and this alone is deeply healing in itself.

Connections are made very quickly and I would say that if you are someone who struggles with feeling safe within yourself or around others - this space is for you.

You are completely taken care of throughout and the food is AMAZING (and tastes even better after a ceremony!!). Cannot rate the experience enough.

Feeling deeply blessed and grateful and I look forward to journeying with Mira again in the future - Thank you family 🙏🏼
