About this Retreat
He was born in Colombia 53 years ago and for 34 years he has been serving humanity with love through sacred plants. Since 2010 he shares his life with his wife and became the co-founder of Sol Sanación.
He also trained as a sociologist, and uses storytelling as a pedagogical means to impart his knowledge inside and outside of each ceremony.
In addition to sacred plants, he knows about hundreds of plants for different diseases and human purposes.
She enjoys engaging in conversation and friendship with others.
She possesses the virtue of patience to bring each participant to the highest point in each ceremony.
The jungle is her favorite place to be, no matter the number of days.
Colombian, 45 years old, founder of her own healing center (Sol Sanación) since 2010, she has promoted and practiced the responsible and respectful use of ancestral knowledge. Her principles are: good birth, good living and good death. Tireless researcher of the spirit, through sacred plants, and promoter of good principles in women, children and family.
Through food, she always congregates all visitors, generating a family atmosphere and of course, a healing one.
With different manual and energetic techniques and her voice, she combines all this knowledge in her office, to restore energy and vitality to her patients.
She is almost always behind the scenes, but she is the heart of Sol Sanación.
The pedagogical form she uses in her teachings is with analogies between nature and daily life, to make it easier to understand and practice.
She is committed to making the feminine presence in shamanism something worthy of multiplying and not a space to compete or to appear.
In the company of her husband and colleague Hernando, they enjoy walking, receiving visitors, exploring new places in the mountains, enjoying natural water sources, planting, gardening and spending time with their dog Kay, who has undoubtedly become a character of love and sweetness within Sol Sanación.

Our operations center is in Quito - Tumbaco (25 minutes from Mariscal Sucre International Airport).
The retreat will take place in Tena - Ecuadorian Amazon (4 hours approximately from our operations center, by land transportation - included in the package).

Accommodation
It is a simple space, in the middle of the jungle, created with the purpose of resting and perceiving the sounds of nature in all its splendor. The entire property is 43 hectares, but only a small portion is built. Sol Sanación has found in this place, the perfect place to cooperate with local community tourism projects. It has no city luxuries, but a lot of heart. There are no hot showers, as the jungle climate is already hot. The rooms are shared double rooms. The hosts are a family always ready to serve us.
