Details of this retreat

This daylong workshop provides structure and space to nurture what might be new in your life and spirit. We will use creative expression & reflection, conversation and/or silence to notice what is new and discern what we might do to set ourselves up for growth.

You might be feeling/thinking: - Something new is beginning but I don’t know what it is. OR
- I want THIS new thing. How can I set up for it to grow? OR
- Things have changed. What was growing has ended; something new needs to begin. But what?

“Growth is unpredictable. It happens from within, in its own time. Set yourself up for it, approach yourself with wonder, and be ready for more than you imagine.” Karen R. Johnston

Weekend at Franciscan Hermitage
From start to finish, my weekend was wonderful. I was filled by the beauty of nature, the silence, and solitude! The comfortable furniture and small but well- equipped kitchen added to my experience. By Sunday I felt rested and renewed by this sacred time with God.
I was grateful!

Wonderful restful and peaceful retreat close to home
The hermitage at the Center was simple, clean, and comfortable. And beautiful because of that. I sat on the balcony in the comfy chair and looked out onto the woods and listened to the birds. I sat there during a rainstorm. I read and wrote and felt the surroundings put me at ease.
Everything was well organized. The Sister who checked me in was attentive, and then left me to my privacy. Perfect balance of care and solitude.
I'm definitely going back!
