Aria Tau

Aria Tau is the Founder of Sacred Waters and a Reverend Co-leading ceremonial retreats. She is a song weaver with an angelic voice that transports you into the angelic realms during ceremony. Aria serves as a clear channel of divine light, walking the healer path in humility and integrity and holding you in reverence as you awaken and realize the bright, undying light that shines within.

She embodies divine femininity, with her open heart and approach that is rooted in radical acceptance and compassion - two core values of the Sacred Waters Sanctuary community. This has created a culture that feels like a family for new and old members of the community. You are accepted as you are - imperfectly perfect - and held in compassion and respect as you shed the layers of self-judgement, embracing self-forgiveness and self-compassion.

Aria has been working with sacred plant medicines for over a decade and has completed dietas (spiritual plant initiations) and apprenticeships to enable her to serve ayahuasca and other sacred plants in ceremonial settings. She is also a highly skilled facilitator with a background in executive leadership coaching, women's spiritual empowerment, and designing and leading transformational and healing programs. She has led over 50 retreats and transformational healing experiences and has worked with thousands to Awaken their Highest Selves through plant medicine, spirituality and neuroscience.

Aria transitioned out of a successful career in technology when she was called to the spiritual path. This led her to take the medicine back to he family in South Africa, and serve her mother, who had suffered with severe trauma and a bipolar disorder for decades. In 2023, with other heart-centered leaders, founded Sacred Waters Sanctuary - a non-profit visionary church - to help those who are seeking a safe and sacred way to heal and thrive. Gabriel is the co-founder of Sacred Waters Sanctuary, a lifelong musician, sound healer, and guide known for creating profound, transcendental musical experiences. His music is deeply inspired by Ayahuasca traditions from around the world, blending sacred medicine songs with heartfelt mantras and healing melodies that open the heart and calm the mind.

Gabriel’s journey into spiritual healing and sound medicine began through his own search for transformation, navigating challenges of self-worth, addiction, and anxiety. Through years of study under a revered guru in India and deep immersion in Indian classical music, Eastern Spirituality, and shamanic practices, he discovered the profound power of sound to heal, uplift, and awaken the spirit. In ceremony, Gabriel holds a grounding energy, creating a safe and sacred container for deep healing. His music and presence serves as a bridge between the seen and unseen, carrying participants into the spiritual realms with shamanic transcendence. His intuitive ability to hold space and call in the light, allows healing to unfold naturally. Deep Dive Retreat: PRAISE
Welcome to Sacred Waters Sanctuary - safe, ceremonial plant medicine community in Oregon / Washington.
At Sacred Waters Sanctuary, we hold space for you to learn how to quiet the mind, calm the nervous system, trust in your inner guidance, and find the answers to life's ultimate questions.
Pre-screened members of our congregation are invited to pray with our sacrament, which we lovingly refer to as Sacred Acacia. The experience is almost identical to an ayahuasca journey, although Sacred Acacia is made from Syrian Rue and Acacia Confusia - plants that originate in Asia.

Purpose of this retreat:
Over three days and two nights, you will have the opportunity to pray with Sacred Acacia twice, alongside meditation, mantra chanting, yoga, time to connect with nature. Our PRAISE retreats are designed to help you cultivate the following:

P – Presence: Awaken to the magic and mystery of the present moment. Let your awareness soften into now.
R – Remembrance: Reconnect with your soul’s wisdom. Receive divine insight that reminds you of who you truly are.
A – Acceptance: Embrace yourself and your life as it is. Cultivate reverence for the beauty in all things—light and shadow alike.
I – Integration: Weave the insights of the ceremony into your everyday life. Align your inner world with your outer actions.
S – Surrender: Release the need to control. Soften into trust and allow the medicine to guide you.
E – Embodiment: Anchor your healing through the body. Rebuild the connection between your mind (thoughts), body (emotions) and soul (purpose).

Location:
This retreat will be hosted at a private retreat center in Kalama, Washington, approximately 1 hour from Portland and 2.5 hours from Seattle. The address to be shared with confirmed guests.
The venue features:

Ceremonial hall sleeping on one of our comfy foam ceremony mattresses
2 private double bed bedrooms (based on availability)
Mountain-fresh river for cold plunging and a beach on the Kalama river for bathing
Sauna
Hiking and walks on the expansive property

Beautiful, transformative, safe, loved

Sacred Waters is AMAZING. I have attended 2 of their retreats now, and they have been the most beautiful and healing experiences of my life. I felt so cared for the entire time, and was able to do some very deep work because of the safe container they created. One thing that is important for me to mention is also the loving care shown AFTER retreat. When you attend a retreat with Sacred Waters, you are then a part of a beautiful community that feels like family. I have felt so supported by them in the months since my last retreat.
