About this Retreat
The Resident teacher, The center's principal teacher
Guen Kelsang Rabjor was initiated into the practice of Kadampa Buddhism in 1994 at the first Kadampa Buddhist center founded by the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in England. Since then, he has tirelessly dedicated himself to learning and deepening this inner path and to sharing his knowledge and experience with many people around the world.
He has been a resident teacher in several Kadampa Buddhist centers, including the Kadampa Meditation Center in Barcelona, where he lived for 16 years. He has also been resident teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center of Spain, in Malaga, and the KMC Mahamudra in Seville. In September 2023 he has been appointed resident teacher of the IKRC Menorca.
He has been a Buddhist monk since 2007 and has extensive experience in teaching modern Buddhism, long retreats and conferring initiations. He has guided meditations and given teachings at national and international Kadampa festivals. His deep spiritual vision and warm, practical presentation of Buddhist teachings make guen Kelsang Rabjor an enormously inspiring teacher.
Details of this retreat
You probably wonder why relationships now last so little, and when they do last, why we find it hard to be okay, why the flame of love goes out so quickly even with our friends.
There is a fine line between love and attachment and it is very easy to mix them up or confuse them. It is certainly going to be very important for us to understand the difference between love and attachment, so that we can decrease our attachment - the source of all our problems, tensions, insecurities and anxiety - and increase our love - the source of deep joy and true happiness.
During this significant weekend guen Kelsang Rabjor will share with us some very useful practical tips and meditations. We will also have the necessary tools to transform our relationships with others into a source of happiness that benefits everyone, establishing the basis to enjoy harmony and well-being.
