About this Retreat
In the peaceful coastal paradise of the Algarve, Sara Ahmadi, a Master of Science in Pharmacy (MSc.), with over 10 years of pharmaceutical experience as a pharmacist and a certified psychedelic coach, is revolutionizing the landscape of mental health care. After relocating to the Algarve two and a half years ago from the Netherlands, Sara’s personal journey through a psilocybin ceremony sparked her passion for transformative, evidence-based healing. Since 2023, she has been the founder of Conscious Pharmacist, where she brings a scientifically grounded, compassionate approach to psychedelic therapy, offering customized retreats and coaching programs tailored to those seeking profound mental health healing and improving their overall health.
Sara’s unique blend of pharmaceutical knowledge and cutting-edge psychedelic scientific research is addressing pressing health challenges such as depression, perimenopause, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, fibromyalgia, burnout, ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and substance use disorders (addictions). Her mission is clear: to create a safe, evidence-based, and controlled space where individuals can embark on life-changing journeys toward healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
Séverine’s yoga journey began in 2007 as a way to find balance amid a demanding career and personal life. What started as a personal practice soon became a professional calling, leading her to share the profound benefits of yoga with others.
In 2016, she completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training (TTC) with Yogalife in Belgium. She later specialized in Yin Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, and holistic body optimization, studying with leading teachers across Europe.
Beyond yoga, Séverine is a certified Breathwork Coach and Emotional Release Facilitator, integrating breathwork, meditation, and trauma release techniques into her teachings. Her sessions guide students toward emotional healing, self-awareness, and deep relaxation.
In 2021, her passion for sustainability led to the launch of Cork Oasis, an eco-conscious yoga brand offering Portuguese cork mats and props that enhance myofascial release and align with her values of mindfulness and environmental consciousness.
Séverine’s teaching style is intuitive, vibrant, and deeply healing, blending Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Yogalates, and Kundalini Awakening Journeys. She also facilitates retreats and ceremonies, incorporating movement, breathwork, energy work, and sound healing to create immersive transformational experiences.
Farah Naz is a psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist, and writer who has spent more than 35 years exploring the ways our minds, bodies, and stories shape our lives. With training rooted in neuroscience and practice that stretches across continents, she weaves science with soul in her work.
Her feminist lens is central: Farah believes therapy and activism meet at the same place—where we begin to reclaim voice, choice, and connection. She writes widely for international magazines, speaks at conferences, and campaigns for systemic change, most recently in honour of her niece, Zara Aleena.
But her presence in a retreat circle isn’t about credentials—it’s about curiosity. Farah brings a love of metaphor, ritual, and imagery that invite women to step beyond analysis into felt experience. She often describes therapy not as “fixing” but as “finding what is already alive in us.”
At this retreat, expect Farah to draw from her many strands—science, poetry, feminism, and deep listening—so that together we can step into the kind of wisdom that isn’t written in textbooks but in the body, the breath, and the lived experiences women carry.
After returning from Australia in 1996, Michele dedicated her life to yoga and the path of inner growth. Her practice integrates meditation, pranayama, asanas, relaxation, and subtle work with the vayus, the vital energies that guide breath and movement.
Michele is also an experienced bodywork therapist, trained in Vijnana Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic Massage. She also works as a Feng Shui consultant and pregnancy doula. Today, she teaches and welcomes groups, workshops and retreats in Portugal.
Michele is the creator of Yogua, a unique method that unites yoga and nature, integrating conscious movement, meditation, breathing, and feng shui principles. This approach invites you to "undo": slow down, release tension, listen to your body, and reconnect with yourself. Unlike traditional practices, Yogua adapts to the present moment and the surrounding space, making each experience deeply personal and transformative.
